Wolfe Chrome Moly here. It has some of the best welds of the torque arms I have had, but I ditched the round tube cross member since it didn't work with my sub frame connectors. No 60' yet.

Here are the proofs from my last track passes:

Really you think that's it?
I was using it w/ the stock crossmember and the TA mounted to the tranny and I had no issues. Guess it's worth a shot.

Probably 2 of them bolted together, or the whole thing is boxed in and it bent adding the pinion angle needed, then it was boxed in.

Just kidding them. Yeah, I use a variation on the "Pete Z bars" deal. My torque arm doesn't do much. No, it's not boxed, welded, nothing. I love it when a kid at the track gets up from looking under it and tells his buddys "This thing has a stock torque arm!". All it does is take some violence out of the hits, just smooths things out. Here is a link to a picture of me, first round of eliminations at the Topeka national event last weekend.

Crap air, crap starting line. No problem keeping it off the bumper there.

Sorry, thought everybody on here knew by now. I think most of the kids that look under mine don't know to look for them. If you go to a big race, and look under 90% (or more) of the fastest late F body NHRA & IHRA stock Eliminator cars, you will see them. No anti-roll bars, no air bags, etc. Madman sells (or used to) his version of them as, as does FJ Smith race cars and others. They make the lower control arms act like short ladder bars. The car won't fall over on the right side, and if goes left or right while up on the rear tires the upper links are adjusted to correct it. Al Corda's nine second LS1 stocker used them. (I believe it lives in Lousiana now) A couple of guys I know only use one on the right side. Mine goes 60's as quick (so far quicker) as any pro built, 4 link, big tire car I have raced in my class. Mine is only mini-tubbed with 10.5" tires. They seem to work pretty well.

Do you have a pitcure of them? Intresting concept, I can visualize how they look, but I would like to see a picture to confirm what I think they look like.

Are they like the SSM lift bars? I used them on a 1989 and took the TA off.

It ended up being the torque arm mount. The bushing and clamp were upside down. I fixed it up and re-checked the pinion angle to make sure it was still -1.5 - 2. It smoothed right out, although I do have some vibration on decel from over 100mph. But it's like 90% better than before.

Good to hear that's strait now.

If you were having 60 foot issues Dan, any chance the car was spinning? reason I ask, is by lowering the front of the tq arm the car won't hit the tires as hard, and with 17 inch wheels I know you have to hit the tire really hard to get them to hook up.

Nope none, Although with this POS performabuilt converter my best 60" over the weekend was a 1.74 flashing as hard as I could ???? The tires did not slip at all. I am talking to Yank about converters as we speak. I think the car will hook up fine though once I get that squared.

When that happens I got relocation brackets ready to weld on.
