I have searched and found only a few pictures of a 30" tire on a trans am. I have found out that they will fit with out mini tubs with some work, but what does it look like with that tall of a tire not tucking any? Anybody have pics of a similar setup?

You can tuck them a little w/o minitubs. The top of my 29.5s sit about .5 - 1" up above the bottom of the wheel well. Sorry I don't have pictures since I normally run radials and not my 29.5s.

3" per side so 6" total. What size radial do you want to run? I swap rims/tires depending on the class so I have two sets of rims. I run 325 MT drag radials on my alumastars w/ a 5" BS.

As long as you can get the correct offset wheel, they should fit not matter what length your rear housing is. I did not have to cut or trim and front sheet metal on my car to fit the 29.5s. I had a spare rear bumper so I trimmed that rather then ruining my original one. Also, I have a friend who has the eastwood fender roller so we used that to roll the lip up around the top of the wheel well.
