Guys with steam rollers, tell me how to clearance my rear fender wells for these 28x10.5W's. The tires clear the intides fine, but the front and rear of the fender wells dont have any room to expand.

This is what i have....

Moser 9" Narrowed 6" total
Aluma star 15x10 5" back spacing
1/4" spacer
MT 28x10.5W

I am trimming mine before haveing the bottom of the car painted.

We are going to make a pie cut in the front of the seem and then push the seem forward and re-weld. On the back I used a trans-cooler strap to push out the rear facia. This part is easily trimmed with a box knife if more is needed.

I have 28x13.5s coming for mine

I cut the metal behind the rear facia and let the tires do the clearancing. I did nothing in the front, just moved the axle back so there was enough room.

P.S. are you running tubes in those tires???

These are 94" in circumference, supposed to be a 29" but are more like a 29.5", Hoosier 10.5W.

I used the Wolfe adjustable LCA's to shift the rear back about .5", cut the metal back behind the bumper for extra room, and then marked with masking tape and a compass onto the bumper cover where I had to cut. I got it close with a coping saw and then came back with a little 80 grit to clean it up.

The best part? No paint work required and no chance of rust!

I rolled the bumpercover back and had it repainted. You can't tell and it looks factory. Plenty of room with adjustable LCAs.

For my 28x10.5's on the 2000 Camaro really only did a little bit of cutting in the back bumper, not much.
