Alot more then you think........If it shakes on the launch, add more. It took alot for me to get over the fact that they weren't slicks but we have had as much as 20psi in them.

Thanks guys. I have never ran a set before. So I have no idea what I am in for. I have a good chassis that is adjustable, hopefully that will help.

Might want to post size, specs of the car, power, etc to get a better ballpark on this.

On my 370 rwhp Nova I run the 275/60/15 on an 8 inch rim. Car weighs 3500 lbs with me, and I run 25 psi on the street and 17-18 at the track. Best of 1.51 60 foot.

On great track prep days I run 25-30psi and get great mph, on normal days I run 15-18 and lose 1-1.5 mph, on bad days I run 13 and lose 2mph.

id like one that ready like 1/4 psi, big round gauge..0-30psi

my 255/50/16 likes 17-18...havent figured out the other sizes yet

quoted for truth. i have gone down to 15 psi and shook the crap out of them. i moved it up to 20-21 psi (on the 275/60 and 325/50 m/t radials) and instantly went down to 1.3 60' times.

track prep at KCIR is pretty consistent....with my 295 Hoosiers 17-18 seems to work great...1.29 60' off the footbrake in a 3350 lb car.

Best answer. Go to the manufacturer's website and look under their FAQ or Tech Bulletin. If you can't find anything there, call them.

MT has a Tech Bulletin which answers your original question. You can also send them an email with technical questions.

I think the majority here is 16-18 psi.@ the track. Mine always work @ 18 psi.
