yes, u will retain the tensioner, water pump, alternator, stock crank pulley (not underdrive)

u will not be using the power steering pump or the idler on the alternator bracket

I drove my friend's 77 Chevy short box van, 383, 700R4, 3k stall that has no PS. It's a huge *** van and it was very easy to drive around. I might end up doing this shortly on my 95 just because my power steering pump is making noises that sound like they're from the movie Cloverfield.

My 72 Camaro drag car no longer has PS and it has a heavy BBC hanging off the front of it, and it turns fine.

You can delete the power steering pump and loop the two ports together at the rack it self. I ran this way for a while and no problems. If you have any peach fuzz you can turn the wheel by hand no problem.

You can use your SLP underdrive pulley as well and use a short belt, I think Thunder lists it as 11-510K6. Call them and they will set you up with the right one.

The belt will be different depending on the pulley you use, here is mine with the ATI non-underdrive pulley which i think is 35.5" long.

Default alt bracket

you could run an alternator bracket from BMR. with this, you could run stock dampener or ud along w/ elec water pump.

Thanks man

i think this what im looking for

11-510K6 "Short Belt" for track use on LS1 F-body with underdrive crank pulley (power steering bypass)

But, can i run it with this setup:

remove p/s pump and

run AC, alternator, stock water pump, slp underdrive pulley + ( short belt )

best regards

The AC is on it's own belt and you will need a shorter belt for that too with the SLP pulley.

That belt listed from TR is what you want to bypass the P/S (or remove it) and run your Alt and WP with the SLP pulley.

I think best solution is a adjustable alt bracket from bmr. Then you just measure and pick your own belt for 2.99 from Autozone.

I heard TR is out of their old building. Are they still in business?

I personally run the BMR bracket, but I use an EWP. If your just eliminating the P/S, you only need a new belt.
