Not true.... For the STOCK cam. Every time I dynoed my cars, I had more torque then hp.... While I still had the STOCK cam in the car.

My 99 SS M6, LS1, made:
297/308 stock
352/360 lid/longtubes/stock catback
463/499 lid/longtubes/dualcutouts/stock catback/100 shot/12bolt full spool

My 01 Z06 M6, LS6, made:
362/363 stock

Aftermarket cams are a different story....

i saw this same thread on LS1GTO.COM..
380ftlbs at 3000rpm with the stock cam and cubes?i don't think so..
can anyone show me another car that makes that much TQ at that rpm with the OEM cam and ported heads?or even a small aftermarket cam, ported heads and 346ci?not trying to be a dick, and congrats to the OP if he's telling the truth, but that's hard to believe..

it isnt really a stock cam with the 1.85 rockers...like putting in a cam with more lift and keeping the 1.7s or what he did stock cam with 1.85s still the same...

great numbers though...

Awesome numbers, I remember you from the Bolt-on LT1 shootout in GM high tech and your stout AI LT1 setup.
I have a question for you, what 1.85 rocker did you go with and how much were they? Also what springs and did you change the pushrod length?

Brother has a magnacharged LS2 that I believe a ported 243 head from AI and some 1.85 rockers would wake it up.

1.85 rockers won't change the VEs,which would have more of an effect on TQ production than just adding a little lift and the small amount dur. from the bigger ratio...not enough to put out that much TQ that soon..

He's on the road today but will answer what I know about the car.

the RR are Comp Cams.
Adding RRs will not change the duration of the cam ENOUGH to worry with and the PRs are the ones he used when he put the heads on, dont recall the length.

The car previously made 400/409 with a big missfire (couple bad plug wires) with the stock rockers.

LOL, People still remember that GMHTP race? Thats cool as hell!

The rockers are Comp Cams Pro Mag's, and I'm running a 7.3 pushrod with some PAC springs I got from Herron Performance.

Congrats on the numbers. That must be a very mild mannered beast.

I hope to have some numbers out of my new Ai LS3 setup in the near future.

Go back this Saturday, contact the owner Steve and he will admit you in free. A lot of pissed off people last weekend. I was one of them but luckily I got the call about 45 mins into my trip down there.

Phone recording said they had no water, lol. I'd like to go back this weekend, but its gonna be like 70 degrees and muggy from all the rain. Securing a truck and trailor from friends mulitple weekends in a row sucks, lol. Carolina is will be running the Sundays after Christmas, I may have to wait untill then.

HAHA...this makes me laugh...I had the hardest time selling my CNC'ed 241 heads because people's wishfull thinking about spending 1200 bucks for "name brand" heads instead of my $ 450 CNC'ed 241's. I had seen results but intel now had nobody to back me up. People should honestly understand that it's the quality of work...not the name on the damn things! Can't wait to see my buyer's results with the 235-240-600-609-111.5 LSA cam I also sold him.

Very nice numbers...I am honestly not suprised...just thankfull somebody finally did a follow up on a nice budget build.
