I gotta be honest... a set of pistons and a clutch and this is the ultimate combo!!!! Its been a while since we put a power adder on anything with a stock engine so we kind forgot how nice it is to drive

Amazing numbers! It's impossible to argue with the power numbers those turbo kits put out!

Awesome numbers !!

How long is the clutch going to last though if the owner starts putting over 500 rwtq thru it ?? How about the stock rear. Awesome results Ron but I am just waiting to see how long it takes for the owner to come back for a twin plate clutch, upgraded drive shaft, and a built rear end.

Vettes dont have a 10 bolt. their rearend are WAY stronger than a Fbodys 10 bolt. There are people doing 1.4-1.5 60' on the stock rear.

That's strange, I have read about numerous vette owners blowing up there rears once they were making good power. (450 rwhp or more) Maybe it was just from wheel hopping at the track. Thanks for the correction.

stock rear with a DTE brace below
https://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-in...tml?highlight=

few guys here doin 1.5s & 1.6's
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/drag...=rearend+stock

point is that a vette rear is alot stronger than a Fbodys crap 10 bolt.
anyway, lets keep the thread on track.

NICE NUMBERS! Ron

Thanks for showing it can be done. I never doubted that, I said lets see how long a stock rear will last. Back to Ron's work, AWESOME work brother.

if your idea of stronger rear is just ring and pinion then yes...they are stronger....cough cough at the guys in A4 Fbodies cutting 1.4 60fts on their fragile rears
All in the driver and setup!

I'm shocked the clutch can hold all of the troque. I'm in the 425rwhp range and my clutch is toast.
