Default 98' camaro 1st dyno... cam, bolts ons...

Took the car to the dyno yesterday. I bought it with the cam already in. Pretty happy with the results...kinda different cam grind so I was curious what it would make.

Mods:

longtubes
off road y with hooker catback
lid/smooth bellows
comp cam ( 227/228 639/588 111 lsa )

That's decent for no more than what you have done. Was that with the 806's and through the catback?

The heads are stock other than some patriot springs and the numbers were through the catback. I am still trying to figure out why he went with such a big lift on the intake side, but it seems to work. AFR was 12.4-5ish across the board.

It works that's why.

Torquer v.3 and the MS4 have very high intake lifts and those cams make great power in a cam only setup.

No track times yet. Got a friend running 11.70's NA and had a chance to mess around a bit before it went into storage. He was a little suprised when it hung door to door

I can't see the numbers. Was is on a dynojet? SAE numbers? Do you know what your friend is trapping running the 11.7s?

The best pull was 370/366 on a dynojet. I believe he was trapping 119-120. He is running a stroked lt1 through a built th350 and a 9in. The car normally runs a 200 shot, so he did have some timing taken out. We went from a 5mph roll as he would kill me from a dig... ( lots of supension parts )
