LS6 Top End Numbers
I have the ls6 set up on my trans am with a 4c stall converter(2.4 str), 1 3/4 headers, lid, cutout, and usual bolt ons. I tuned the car at henderson performance technologies yesterday and it made 353.96 hp and 342ft lbs but it looks like it flat lined at 5400 rpm. it might just be where the cam stopped making power. the car has the stock 99 ls1 injectors and stock fuel pump with 154000 miles on it.

here buddy...
I have a 01 LS6 long block in my SS also, I have just intake, headers, off road Y pipe, LM1 exhaust into the factory CME tips, ported TB and stage 2 RAM HD power grip clutch....No dyno tune. I put down 351rwhp, 355rwtq on a low reading dyna pack (reads 10% lower then the local dyno dynamics)...heres my graph...
at the time of this dyno, the motor had 8k on it...now I have 10k. These are SAE corrected.

Agree w/ the others. Good numbers, no worries.....154K & going strong.

i just swaped in the ls6 heads, cam and intake. i wanted to keep the good gas mileage and have a sleeper car. The motor only has 1500 miles on it since the swap. Cory tuned the car, not complaining by any means. The car went 11.9 with 325 hp before the tune with a 14.0 a/f. i am going to put 28# injectors in. I was just curious because it quit climing.

I think something is holding you back. The curve just plateaus way too suddenly. LS6s are supposed to peak higher than LS1s. My bolt on LS1 w/ a PT4000 makes the same power and 24 rwtq more. Something is amiss.

Dyno graph is definately off.. my power peaked around 6 and held to 6500 before it dropped off with the ls6 setup, I do have a fast 78 manifold though. Your a/f stays at 13:1 so it's not the fuel.. maybe some kind of intake restriction like the maf, air filter, or throttle body?
