Default RR-STRIKER CAM - Check it out(Vid & Graph)

Here it is guys..Our STRIKER Cam in action. Its not to often we install one of these. Our STRIKER Cam is a 244/256 110 Camshaft. It is designed to have big top end power. It is usually not the cam I suggest for those guys wanting to drive their car everyday. It has 30degrees overlap and is a bear to get dialed in due to nature of surging that this camshaft has, but if someone wants to put a gear in the car like a 4.10 it cleans this cam up nicely due to the fact the rpms are up driving it around making the cam much less noticable. Not only that..the 4.10 gear makes the car with this cam downright VIOLENT as hell

With that being said. This customer brought this car to us. He said the car felt like it had no top end power and felt like it just gave up. Thats when we decided on this package. It already had AR Headers, Camshaft(Customer will release vendor if he wishes), Ported intake, Killer Bee with Beehive and Vette-Air.

We Swapped the Camshaft, Installed MTI Heads, and also a Fast 102mm Intake with 57lb injectors and reworked the Throttle Body. We are also installing a new clutch and a Rockland 4.10 gear set.

You can see from the baseline why he was unhappy with his cammed car. We made 82rwhp at peak and 110rwhp@7000rpms We also gained 40rwtq@peak and 81@7000rpm. We thought this was huge.

Here is the Graph and Vids.

Whats the specs on the heads? what kind of lift is on the cam? im assuming this was a stock bottom 346? was fly cutting required? compression on the setup?

you made one hell of a gain with that setup.

WOW That car is sick and freakin loud too.

Great work and great numbers I'm sure if you let the car cool down a little you can achive 600rwhp.

One question the Lethal cam have better drivability than Striker by a lot right???

I had this cam in my 441 for awhile and to say it's "violent" is quite the understatement! The top end and rpm carryover was undeniable. I switched out for something a little more streetable since I have a 4L60e and A/C in a 3800lb car. I tell ya what though..............I really do miss it!!

Yes the LETHAL does have better drivability 15 degrees overlap vs 30. It does take some work to dial it in.

what clutch is he running? I got a ride in a car with a Textralia Exo-Skel twin disc making around 575rwhp/500rwtq+ (440ci TFS 245's) and 1st gear was chattery as hell. Pedal pressure was over the top. It certainly held the power though.

How would this cam compare to a QM600 in driveability and power? This cam sounds downright crazy.

He is running a monster clutch in his car. This cam will make more power than a QM600 and will not have the greatest drivability. It takes some work to get dialed in. It drives much better with the 4.10s.

Did I mention this car is downright sick on the street.

I ran a A4 with a Ford 9 inch and a 370 gear out back and my tuner had this cam runnin' super streetable. Had to idle it around 1000 rpms but it was all worth it. Dynoed 562/516 RWH/RWT in an F-Body. Man I still drool over this cam.................................

We do realease the specs when asked. The lift on the Striker cam is .660 We use a .675 lift spring with our setup. They hold up great and we have experienced no problems with them whatsoever. You can also go with Ferrea spring as well that Lingenfelter uses on the 690 lift LS7 Cams.
