What tire to cut a 1.56 60 time ?

26x11.50-16 ET Streets on a CCW drag pack. The tires are a few years old, it is about time for a new set, but still hooked good none the less.

We are going to be taking it to the 1/4 on the 29th and see what it will do with the 3.42 but yes, still thinking of going 3.73.

If the 13th is like any other T&T night at zMax, I want no part of it. That place is dangerous on T&T nights with little to no track prep. We will have it at Rockingham on the 29th.

Their doing a better job prepping the track. I saw some 10 sec cars run the night I was there. Hell bring it out and if it sucks I'll give you half your money back lmao.

 

Man i just cant believe the power being made out of this 402, this thing doesnt even have ewp and utilizes regular off the shelf parts from what im reading here...this must be the best tune ever...if i dont make 550whp out of my 415ci ill be setting my car on fire.

I have a friend that works at zMax. He said they were gonna be prepping it better on T-N-T nights.

 

Whoever did it for the invitational race the tuesday before the first NHRA race did it right. Have him get that crew there again. I couldn't make my vette spin if I wanted to that night.

That was the best hooking track I had ever been on. Since then it has been nothing but down hill. 11.30 with a stock bottom end with a passenger was fun

 

6.8 @ 104 at 2700 DA! Thats strong especially considering he hasn't gotten a handle on it totally. Looks like 9's are a possibility with gears and some - DA. Awesome job guys!

 

I dont know if it will go 9's but I think some low 10s are in store with some good weather, good tire, and another gear.
