This is why they get all my money lol. Congrats on the numbers Nick. Guess I need to start looking for a 408cid. Oh wait I'm married, what was I thinking lol. Get it ready for Zmax on Aug 13th. The 1/4 awaits you.

Married is no excuse...I am married and talked the wife into a 408...of course I blew the #7 piston first.

It nevers stops though.

Awesome build, great videos...looks like the tune was pretty well dialed in for the idle...was that cold start or was it already warmed up?

My car cold start idle is jacked...I had bad O2 and now that I changed them and the intake the car won't cold idle for crap.

If I were you I would hope for 127-128mph and be satisfied if ya get that.

either way sick power, and nice rides!
It looks like you have never been to the track. Look at my sig. When my 416 was only making 555/505rw I ran 136.12 in street trim with 3.42's. I let the motor break in and put a decent tune on it and got 573/530rw SAE on a some what tight dyno, but never got it back to the track. I ran all off the shelf parts, no vacuum pump and was missing some bolt ons with untouched TFS 235's. Compression is your friend with the right size cam. I could run 32* timing on 93 with no issues. It didn't make any more power but I could do it. I was at 12.1:1. I don't know why there are not more motors out there making this kind of power. The combos are out there for any one to copy, at least mine is, right down to exact cam specs.

Nick you did a good job. Finish up all the bolt ons, concentrate on the exhaust and ditch the MAF if you are still running it. I wish I would have put 3.90's in my car and finished the tuning and bolt ons. It would have gone 140 for sure. I think you are local to me. If you need a driver let me know. Good job.

Pray, what track did you run those numbers at ?? Just curious because there are some tracks with Abnormally good Da and much faster traps are being posted at them.

I will be running at Milan Dragway in Milan, MI. Anyone know how to find the DA of the track ??

I run at the local Fayetteville NC track that is slightly up hill. Rockingham is known to be a couple tenths and a mph or two faster. The only time I ran there was the dead of summer. The DA was over 3,500 and I still ran 10.7@132. The 10.21 run was at +500. I was also on a 8" tire that was spinning on every shift. I left 15-20ft of stripe on the 3/4 shift past the 1/8 that sent me towards the center line. We do get some great air though. I have seen -1,500ft days in the winter. I have just never run on those days. The whole East Coast has great tracks so I am only kind of lucky. Nick has access to the same tracks I do since he is local. Just remember, the driver is the best mod you can have with a stick car. There are some vids of me driving the car on here some where. To get DA just google a local weather station and find a DA calculator.

Sorry to take this thread off course.

I would love to see some 1/4 results to back up these dyno numbers. With these numbers and ballpark raceweight, I would expect 133-135 MPH depending on track conditions.

We will have it at the 1/8th again Thursday depending on the weather. I really want to get the 3.73s in the car before we go to the 1/4.

makes me wish I had a little more compression. I feel that is what is holding my numbers back a little.

Ran the car a few times tonight at the local 1/8 mile with the 3.42 gear. Track was hooking good, it was bogging the car out of the hole launching at over 5k. Still managed a 1.56 60' and ran a 6.84 at 104. The car deffinately has more in it, but I was pleased for the weather and only the 2nd time out. The car did have a best mph of 105.3.

Hey Zach I want to see that car out at Zmax on the 13th. Now it's time to see what it does in the 1/4. Btw not my fault about Nick getting there late lol. Talk to his 15 month old. All I can say is you should if seen it lmao.
