Cam only, full bolt ons... surprising numbers!
I just finished my build in my apt garage and got some pretty interesting numbers.
1998 Camaro- 410rwhp 370ftlbs
Engine: (out of 01 camaro)
-MS3 237/241 .603 .609 on a 112 LSA
-LS6 intake
-fully ported TB
-.650 springs
-TR pushrods
-SLP lid w/K&N filter
-SLP ram-air
-Hooker LT's
-X-pipe with dumps before axle
-160* stat
-ARP bolts throughout
-LS2 timing chain
-Melling pump
-BONE STOCK HEADS
4.10 gears
LCA bars
SFC
315 rears w/ heavy 11" wide ZR1
Hurst
!EGR
!AIR
!rear 02
coolant bypass
I was barely able to finish everything in time, in fact i had a few twerks to iron out when i got to to the tuner. Who by the way is PBJ (performance by Joe). I would highly recommend him to anyone in the St. Louis area!
I was asking him about differences in Dyno numbers and he informed me that he is running 20% load on his dynojet, and most people run anywhere from 11%-17%. I guess the reason for such high percentage is becuase of all the high boost builds he does (like his near 2000 rwhp Viper).
I was very surprised at the 370 ft lbs with 4.10 gears!!!! Does anyone else find this surprisingly high???

Full boltons should include and EWP and UD pully, just busting your ***** man!!
Anyways you did a pretty damn good job. Glad to see you did the work yourself. I wish I could do more then fluid changes, and plug/wire swaps. LOL.

Anyways, adding those parts won't add much rwhp, but they do let the engine rev a lot quicker and you'll love the bump in gas mileage if you drive your car on trips like I do. My 346 on a 1200 mile trip (Dallas to Detroit) did 34.5 mpg on one tank (actual mileage, display was reading 38-40 the entire drive!) and 34 mpg on the other. Now that I've got a 402 (see sig) she still manages 27 mpg, confirmed on a trip from Atlanta, Ga area *Vengeance Racing, to Metro Detroit.
Tell ya what, when I hit the lotto, I'll sponsor your next build, provided you have it built by Vengeance Racing using a Pro Line short block of your choice. LOL. Good job though.
