u guys argue this point like you have tried and failed????

have you ??? im sorry about your luck

at this point i dont care if u ever do or don't but it seems your mouths like to make more horsepower than your cars.

I never built a 9 second car and i dont have a bonestock ls1 making over 500 rwhp with a single turbo on it right now

and i havent been street racing since some of you were under 10

you guys all got me . i am a fake

and according to you guys im skipping steps and im leaving out parts

are used recondition rods just as good as used rods ??

is a used block thats been bored and prepped just as good as a new block?

is a used crank just as good as a new crank?

you guys go spend your money wherever you want but u should probably invest some time in reading and researching then stockpiling good used parts to build your 1000rwhp engine for under 10k

[QUOTE=E-Works;12857161]u guys argue this point like you have tried and failed????[QUOTE]
No, there is no reason to shoot for that kind of number because I don't have 40k to throw into a car.
I never built a 9 second car and i dont have a bonestock ls1 making over 500 rwhp with a single turbo on it right now
And my car also makes over 500Rwhp and runs bottom-mid 10s full weight. Does this gave ANYTHING to do with making 1000Rwhp? No.
and i havent been street racing since some of you were under 10
you guys all got me . i am a fake
Again, in your mind does this make you correct? What does you street racing have anything to do with a building a 1000Rwhp LsX vehicle?
and according to you guys im skipping steps and im leaving out parts
Are you making 1000Rwhp?
you guys go spend your money wherever you want but u should probably invest some time in reading and researching then stockpiling good used parts to build your 1000rwhp engine for under 10k
I will put big bucks on it that I have read and researched 1000X's more on this website than you have.

You don't think it is odd out of all the people posting in here.. You say it is easy to do.. Everyone else says no way in hell.
Kind of odd, no?

most people just dont bother arguing with dumb people when they know it can be done also for 10k

if u want to spend 40k u better be getting a 2500 hp engine

1k whp, INSTALLED in the car, RUNNING. lets say just including a clutch, and thats it, i'd say is doable for something more like 16k, and thats something that'd be fairly durable, and usable on the street.

You are arguing because you "think" it can be done, it can't.

I'm talking of a 1000Rwhp setup.. Not a 1000Rwhp engine. There is a BIG difference in the two.

Alot of people on here buy Used parts and there are alot of Good deals on here, check the for sale thread... even so, you can't build a 1000RWHP engine on a 10k budget.

When your building this kind of power you have to "nit pick" and get specific or your you might as well put a lighter to your money because your engine probably won't make it off the Dyno...

Again, what would this prove?

MY GOD!!!!!!!! You have a car that can lift the wheels... What was that cutting? An amazing 1.4X short time, or did you maybe hit 1.3Xs, would surprise me though?
Who are you trying to impress here? Lifting the tires is nothing impressive, I do that with my full weight street car on motor. You being able to do that doesn't help your argument any.

Pretty said you have to retort back to calling people out on the internet and posting pics of your car pulling the tires at the track... I understand though, you are wrong and you see it.

Oh yea. This proves it if you can make 500 with 5k just build two of them.

I'd say 700-800rwhp is a pretty easily obtainable goal for 10k. The step to 1,000 would take a LOT of know-how and good deals, and definitely 100% labor done by yourself.

My car is around 480rwhp on motor and I have less than 10k in it TOTAL, including the price of the car, including some appearance mods. It's also built to handle the power, not hacked together (i.e. big motor, stock trans/rear)

Forged 408 with TH350 and 12 bolt. Will be spraying a 250 shot to hit my "reliable 700rwhp/$10,000 complete car goal" Oh yeah.. and it's a full weight/full option 55k mile 99 SS that is rust-free and never wrecked.

I really think you'd be able to hit 1,000 rwhp for 10,000 + car. But, it wouldn't be reliable. And no.. I've never done it.. so I couldn't give insight on how to. It would have to be a big turbo dyno queen, because putting any abuse to it on the track or street probably wouldn't last too long.

Thats so funny, Honda guys talking about 10K$ 1000rwhp engine LOL

Like it was said, everybody here would have 1000rwhp if it would cost 10 grand.

I remember a 427lsx 912rwhp procharged vette for sale here and it was far from a 10K car, more like a 100K car... GTFO

You are right... One exterior pic and that tells everyone cam duration, turbo size, what rear end your running, who tuned the car. Etc etc etc...
