I hear you guys on the weather situation. I'm only a few hours away and was going to head up to Northern Michigan. After seeing temps all week in the 60's to todays forecast of nearly 70 degrees for SE MI, followed up with rain/snow mix on Saturday I am disgusted. I finally get the car out, I also have my only weekend off until another 6 weeks go by and the weather has to ruin it for me. At least we've got the entire summer to look fwd to

Good luck to you guys getting the alignment done. I have a feeling with all that power a proper alignment is going to be key !!!!

ALLGNC5- I hear you on the weather, its been way too nice this week.Chris put a Kmember in his car this winter while the engine was out. Lot easier with no motor in the way. Now it pulls real hard, he said to the right.

P S J, its been a long time no see. How have you been? I know you have to be working on something, are ya? You have to come out to Byron or GLD when Speed Ink has a get together at the track. Larry and Jim usually go out like at least once a month.Hope to see you out this summer.

since the intake fit like crap there are pics in another thread I started...I shimmed it up with 8 port gaskets I had made...they were rectangular in shape with the head port waterjet cut out of them...I used .200 viton sheet gasket and drew a program up in autocad and had a local waterjet cut them out...I then rtved them to the heads...the transition was much improved and probably helped flow by around 5-10% if I had to guess...

all the little things add up...

redynoed with the 11/32" pushrods and laid down the exact same number 485rwhp...I will see if Larry can shoot me an over lay graph of before with the 5/16" vs 11/32"...

also dumped the catback on the dyno and saw no improvement still 485rwhp...so looks like the cutout is doing it's job pretty well...

noticed my tires were around 25psi...so we bumped them up to 30 psi and gained 2rwhp...kind of interesting

so adding pushrods that are about 50% heavier showed no loss/gain in power with my car...

also made 400rwhp on 7 cyclinders

once we get the graphs we can look at if it carried the rpm a little more stable near 7k...

sent you a bunch of graphs

tire pressure is a good indication that running as much pressure as you can at the track will go faster ( with no traction issues )

I can't wait to see how the car runs once summer decides to arrive.
