EP just put the first '11 in the 11's.
11.98 @ 117MPH with a 1.67 60ft
11.85 @ 117MPH with a 1.64 60ft
11.82 @ 118MPH with a 1.63 60ft
Details: Stock 2011 GT manual with 3.73's dynoed 368rwhp. On the stock 19's to ran a 12.88@110. They put skinnes and m/t's on it with new rear control arms and ran a 12.49@112. They added a catless x-pipe,borla catback,k&n panel filter and tune picking up 42whp. 11.8 @118mph

Well there were no long tubes added to the stang, just a cat back. And I wouldn't expect Ford to leave THIS much on the table as a result of conservative timing and running rich A/F. The LS1 also has 44 more cubes. Look at the difference 30 cubes has made in the LS3!
Just saying the MPH,E/T,HP gains seem fairly significant relative to the basic mods.
I mean, 11.8's would be good for a GT500!
Just doesn't add up in my mind.

the 2010 gt500 is alot heavier(3950lbs) than the 2011 gt(3605lbs), any of the naysayers consider this fact when posting? I posted awhile back that this car should be capable of low 12's high 11's with boltons and a tune in another thread in this section and got flamed for it... Looks like I was right! Should be a drivers race between the SS and 11 gt.
