Default PRC 227 Automatic Dyno Results

Guys we recently dyno tested a customers car that showed up with recently installed 227 heads. The car is a automatic with 4000 stall I believe.

TA
LS1
PRC 227 62cc Heads
MS4 Camshaft
Pacesetters
Y Pipe
Loudmouth
12 Bolt Rear
4L60E
Underdrive Pulley

Car was dyno tested with me rolling into the throttle so it doesn't down shift. I typically lock the tranny in 3rd, but I didnt have the hp tuners software connected so I just rolled into it. As a result I wasnt at WOT all the way till Well past 4000rpm

Enjoy!!

Apples to apples, without changing camshaft or anything else, you'd likely see about 5-10hp or so by swapping to 227's from the 215's. The only real downside to the 227's is you lose about .013" of piston to valve as compared to the 215's due to the extra valve size. We do not recommend the MS4 with the 227's due to that, unless you flycut your pistons, but this guy insisted on it and just ran it without checking. I am sure it was very tight!

Default 227 heads

Cool...Just wanted to make sure Ive been having friends call an mention this thread...LMAO...but i also wanted to throw out there about the specs:
stck underdrive pulley
3600 stall
stck bottomend
7.5 rods
as far as installing the fast 102 i had to sand down alil on top of the mezier water pump for anyones concern
an my pulls are as followed if im correct
1st-420
2nd-432
3rd last- 453
the #'s were impressive an the car is running great
I havent ran the car due to penwell closing down for good so im hoping to run in hobbs nm sometime soon to see my results an i also want to mention that there might be a race if the guy doesnt chicken out but i will be posting a video on youtube if it does happen...so i hope everyone will comment and view the video...as far the the other vehicle racing me it will be an 05 Lambo murcielago ....stck i believe...I will keep everyone posted on what happens....
Oh yeah an i want to thank terry for installing my heads, intake and everyone at texas speed jason for getting down on that dyno an tune, hopefully with the kill on the lambo it will bring even more customers to texas speed!
