Very nice! Will this car see the track soon? Just curious to see what it would run.

The customer lives MD and plans to get to the track once it's a bit better weather. The car made 526 rwhp with a sleeved 427ci motor before which got overheated and damaged due to a t-stat issue.

car is about 3600# with driver

The car ran 10.6@128 NA then so I think with the new motor/more power, lid w/ chrs1313 RA and a few other things it should run a bit better

Good result

I run similar gear in my Commodore(your G8)motor wise.
Im getting 546rwhp with less compression.
Have recently fitted the FAST 102

Would be interesting to add the 102 intake to see if it pulled more.

Good luck and enjoy from Ausi

So it is hard to hit 600rwhp with those f-bodys not like the vettes,

why not TSP True Duals and 102mm Manifold.

thanks

it is heavy and a tighter converter due to the N20, but I think 10.3 or so NA is possible and very respectable for a NA true street car

had the intake from the 1st motor + it's custom painted already and would have been a big expense to swap

good #'s on your setup

thanks

it's tough to hit 600rwhp with any NA motor when it's not an all out race car

This is a street car which will see a lot of enjoyment cruising around. The other reason why it doesn't have true duals.

intake already noted above

You can calculate torque from hp as torque is derived from hp. I'm not 100% positive but if those are 28" tires torque is around 575 @ 5000 rpm. 556 rwtq if they are 26" tall tires. 593 rwtq @ 4600 if they are 28" tall tires. This thing is a monster, no doubt. Right around 1.4 tq per cube through an auto, very very stout. Thing would have made 600rwhp + with a better intake no doubt, as I would bet the map reading is dropping quite a bit above 5000 rpm.

This is a great of example of how a proper setup can achieve amazing power through out the entire curve. 1.4 ftlb's per cube is about as optimized as you can be on pump gas. Congrats guys, truely impressive.

Well that makes a little more sense if they are 26" tall tires. 562 ftlbs @ 5000 rpm and it looks like 494 ftlbs @ 3400 rpm! Still very very impressive.
