Default 403ci-AFR 225s-TR New Stroker Cam (Updated with Graph)

Figured I'd post some dyno numbers on my current/latest setup.

-LQ9 Iron Block 4.005 Bore
-Eagle 4" Crank
-Eagle H-Beam 6.125" Rods
-Wiseco -8cc Dish Pistons with Rings Gapped for Street/Nitrous
-AFR 225 Big Bore Heads 60cc with 0.051 Cometic Gaskets (11.7 to 11.8 CR)
-Thunder Racing TR V.2 Cam 247/251 .624/.632 112 lsa
-Meziere EWP
-SLP Underdrive
-ARH 1 7/8" Headers
-Custom Y-Pipe with Flowmaster Merge 3 1/2" Cutout to Magnaflow Catback
-FAST 92/92 port matched some smoothing on runners
-FTP 105mm lid with LPE 100mm MAF
-42# Injectors
-Stock Rockers

Drivetrain:
-Built T56
-Centerforce DFX Ceramic Clutch
-PST Aluminum Driveshaft
-Dana 60 with Trutrac and 4.10 gearing
-TT2 Wheels 17x11 Rears

Cutout closed made 494/450
Cutout opened made 520/474

Car was Tuned by Slowhawk Performance hopefully ill get my lazy *** to finish installing the nitrous before the winter to dyno it with about 150-200 shot.

Car needs more intake and exhaust flow might be adding dual cutouts this winter to see if it gains anything but satisfied with the numbers and the car feels great. Going to post dyno graph after work.

Thanks...

The clutch is ok its close to an on and off switch to go but I can slip it alittle but all in all I like it after this clutch I want a twin disk

I was thinking of the fast 102/102 ported by someone but was also thinking of a victor jr and 105tb idk yet the nitrous will power through the 92/92 though lol

I hope you dont go to the track much cause that TruTrac isnt going to make it through many hard launches. Very nice setup though!!!

I only goto the track about 2 or 3 times a year I only went once this year and got booted off for no cage but that was with the 347ci now I have the cage also. I've never seen or heard of a trutrac breaking yet in a dana 60 I've seen them break in the 9inch rears but even when I goto the track I drop it no more than 3k no slicks or skinnies either

"Someone" here.....LOL (PM me if your interested in stepping up your game with a ported 102)

Hey....besides the quick bit of humor above I thought I would hop on to compliment you on your results. I think those numbers are very strong, especially going thru the much heavier Dana rear.

I cant believe how bad your exhaust strangled you as well.....I guess if you run a power operated cut out its not a big deal but that is one of the largest losses Ive ever seen from uncorked to corked.

Consider some Yella Terra rockers after your wallet heals as well.....should be worth 5 RWHP or so and extend your valve guide life dramatically.

Enjoy the new combo!

Cheers,
Tony

Thanks tony yea the exhaust is really killing it now also when the qtp cutout is closed it is going through the center mount tips also. I'm still undecided about the intake deal I know you port them and ill prob pick up a good gain. The dana 60 on the other hand I think someone did a comparison on stock to dana and a 9inch with gearing dana used about 13hp I believe and xx torque I forgot I have to say the car is strong.

Idk about the YT rockers I've already had a set snap on me maybe after they get them straightin out ill ****** a set

Its straightened out....

In fact I just had lunch with Jim Petrakis this week (one of the owners visiting from Australia). It was handled awhile ago....all the stuff in the States now is most certainly the versions that have the proper machining.

I just built an engine with a set (the 417 I featured here recently), Im building another engine right now that will run them, and my personal engine (an all new build) will also be fitted with a set around the end of the year.

If I wasn't comfortable with them I wouldn't use or recommend them.

Just an FYI....if you need help with a set let me know

-Tony

Friend of mine had a 9" w/ trutrac and it did fine at the track...15 passes in one day not to mention the rest of the passes over the summer...

What is wrong with the trutrac?

they have been known to break under decent power, especially in a 9". i have one in my junker but i know it is probably on borrowed time. there is a thread floating around here that was discussing it.

your exhaust must really suck for your cutout to gain that much power. My cutout gains alot and it's because my exhause sucks too.

Strong numbers, great combo! I killed a TruTrac in my 9in with bolt-ons... But I think drag radial and wheel hop mostly kill it.. Now I have a Locker and take all the abuse!

Yea I think this winter I'm going to make a nice Y pipe with daul cutouts off the headers then 2 cats to the flowmaster merge I shouldn't have any restritions in the exhaust with 2 cutouts.

Similar results here. Mods in sig. Cam is 247/255 .624/.624 on 114. I have a custom 3 1/2" Y, the FM merge and the Mufflex 4" with Magnaflow. Headers are 1 7/8 to 2" stepped Kooks. Made 510/465 through the auto and 9 inch on 325 DRs. Mufflex cost me about 10 rwhp over my previous Vibrant resonator and turndown, but car was way too loud when cruising for my taste. Frost tuned the car.

Car made 680/700 on a 200 shot. Picked up 225 rwhp over the NA tune with the timing taken out (455 rwhp, IIRC). 12* makes a big difference.
