I'm thinking of having my rims widened, maybe then I would cut a 1.3 at the track

did you run a full catback with the old y-pipe? or has it always been a single pipe, dumped before the axle??

Hey Chris, I missed it the first time around, but you added an EWP at the same time as the headers and merge correct?

yes I did...to be honest I don't I gained hardly anything from it...I think mine was like patrick G that gained 0 on back to back dyno...

I think it boils down to how efficient and well within tolerance your stock pump is from the factory...how much drag it causes...

maybe I got a few hp/tq from it but my guess is most was from the headers and merge

most likely getting a fast 102 this year so we will have fairly back to back results vs a 92...with a new custom 4" lid I made

Which lid are you referring to? The 98 or 104? I've seen a thread that you weren't a fan of the 104mm, b/c you felt that it necked down more or something..

It may not show on a dyno, but my elec pump did seem to make my motor rev quicker, and cool faster, and run more consistent at 180 summer or winter, and idle 50 rpm higher, so it has to free up something, plus its over 8 lbs lighter.

yeah the 104mm and 98mm have the same inlet size (when I measured the 102 is was actually a hair smaller couple hundreths going off memory) the snout is the only thing bigger to allow a 102 maf to fit...

I have a 98mm now and when I flowed it at work it is equivalent to a 84mm perfect orifice plate...

take your off and look down the snout of the lid and you will see that 1/4 or so of the opening in blocked due to the way it has to be designed to fit under the hood and airfilter lid base assembly

this is something I will be testing when the weather clears up some

yup, no need for the other one, just get the alt bracket from bmr and you can adj your belt tension that way. save more weight and gets rid of the idler , and tensioner pully.
