AC and heat are the last things to go on my car.. I'll have lightweight glass before I get rid of my AC

I'd be interested if you can run AC and heat... but I'm not sure how that would work

You can PM me if ya want.. I feel like this is getting pretty off topic..

Sorry Chris

Sorry Chris
The race pump has two separate outlets that can run heater lines, or(as I do) i run the coolant from the small coolant lines that run under my manifold, to a heater core, then back to the radiator. works well and saves a tone of weight. plus the coolant that leaves the top of the heads is warmer, faster, heat comes on a bit sooner is cool weather

A/C should not be affected, it runs off a separate belt off the crank pulley

Do what you want, I spent alot of time trying to get a light heater setup, and now I finally have one, I have not seen one other person with a setup like mine.

Shows my knowledge of the AC system I suppose. I know it runs off the crank, but for some reason I was thinking one of the lines on the water pump was for the AC, but now that I think about it, that makes no sense.. lol..

I was just looking at that... I live in Florida and could pretty much care less about heat, but I don't want to loose my AC... Thoughts?

yeah I could see that...it really depends on the complete intake setup of the car...if it was still on a stock maf or stock ported Tb that makes perfect sense...plus even with my 92/92 setup and almost 500rwhp I think the new lid might only be worth a few hp if even that...

so if it is worth nothing on the dyno then basically 1 kpa of vacuum doesn't affect hp at all on my setup...

I am more curious than anything how vacuum level relates to hp output...I want to know what the point of diminishing returns is...more curious than anything...

The ram air setup kind of sparked my thoughts since it shows around 2.7mph on my car vs a stock setup...so when I measure 2.5kpa difference at 100mph was worth 2.7mph but also part of the equation is the cold air difference too...I got to set some tests up this spring and find the absolute best ram air lid setup for a 102 fast...I am going to test 2 or more setups I have rolling around in my head...

Does that include losing AC components?

I do only problem is you will still have that ugly part of the air box in the engine bay boo.... but if you want to keep the ac just leave the heater box and everything alone not worth the trouble at you point
