A/C should not be affected, it runs off a separate belt off the crank pulley
Do what you want, I spent alot of time trying to get a light heater setup, and now I finally have one, I have not seen one other person with a setup like mine.

The race pump has two separate outlets that can run heater lines, or(as I do) i run the coolant from the small coolant lines that run under my manifold, to a heater core, then back to the radiator. works well and saves a tone of weight. plus the coolant that leaves the top of the heads is warmer, faster, heat comes on a bit sooner is cool weather

chris. Its been a a year maybe 2 I'll ask Mike again. But he told me he tuned a car with a SLP lid, and did a/b/a/b test with the bigger FTP lid and it didnt make any more power when they 1st came out.

so if it is worth nothing on the dyno then basically 1 kpa of vacuum doesn't affect hp at all on my setup...
I am more curious than anything how vacuum level relates to hp output...I want to know what the point of diminishing returns is...more curious than anything...
The ram air setup kind of sparked my thoughts since it shows around 2.7mph on my car vs a stock setup...so when I measure 2.5kpa difference at 100mph was worth 2.7mph but also part of the equation is the cold air difference too...I got to set some tests up this spring and find the absolute best ram air lid setup for a 102 fast...I am going to test 2 or more setups I have rolling around in my head...

I do only problem is you will still have that ugly part of the air box in the engine bay boo.... but if you want to keep the ac just leave the heater box and everything alone not worth the trouble at you point
