i guess moving a heavy dragcar thats all good. its not to say a different cam wouldnt make you more power across the board or spread it out some. i want a cam thats going to come on soft in my street car so im not sitting there spinning.

and jasson i dont understand your post. it does suck also?

LOL.. JaSSon is being sarcastic!! Jasson has the MTI X1 which is a reverse split, and runs 10.6 i believe all motor and 10.2 on spray i believe. His setup is proof that reverse splits work. He added heads and a fast intake which people think a reverse split wont work, and he added a 100 shot of spray which people think a reverse split dont work. All this on a 346 LS1 w/ 100k plus miles..impressive!!

i guess we can agree to disagree.

i personally would never build a car around a reverse split cam

thats cool man its all good bro! would you not run a reverse split because everybody on tech says so? LOL.. J/K!

I have the same goal as the original poster. My car is just a fun street car. Never will see the track, not trying to set records or anything. My goal is to hopefully make 430-445rwhp with a H/C on my auto. Im sure adding some killer heads and a ported fast should get me there.

The only regret i have is not going bigger. I have never rode in a cammed car, and my car drives so civil man. That is why im looking into just adding heads, and a ported fast and bigger stall. I can always change out my cam. Just trying to see how much my car runs by adding these mods.

Check out this car.. TR230/224 stock heads i believe with a 4k stall..

Ran 12.54 @ 113.6 with a 1.9 60' DA was 2300

It has 11's in it when gets any suspension parts and I don't have to worry about babying the 10 bolt. Car is an M6

that's a big factor. Plus I'm on stock suspension and full weight. I only cut a 1.95 60'

With a 1.71 I should be down in the 11's about
