Have you installed the fast combo yet? Curious to see your gains with the bigger lid, maf, tb and intake.

They do suck

No fast install yet. Goes on the dyno the 27th of this month. Keep ya posted. I won't be doing heads at this point. I'm waiting for a local friend to tear his motor apart. He is selling me his 243 heads and then I will send them off to AI. This won't take place probably for another year or so.

Are u putting on the intake and tb yourself? I put mine on and ran it without a retune for a week and it was fine. When we made the first pull on the dyno it read almost the same afr as with the ls6 intake so if ur worried about leaning it out I think you'll be ok. You can save $ too by installing urself.

No, I have one of the best builders/tuner on the East Coast located just minutes from me. He does all my work and tuning. I honestly don't have the time nor really care to work on my car other then doing the basic oil changes, brakes etc. I make enough money to have my builder do the work.

I still haven't gotten my car tuned yet. I am looking for a 92/92 setup. Still wondering how much it will be worth over a LS6 intake. I only want to have it tuned once then drive the **** out of it.

Can't wait to see your numbers.

Ballpark of $1500 for everything. Including a new oil pump & LS2 chain set.

I will post one up after the install/tune of the intake set up.

I will post one up after the install/tune of the intake set up.
It would be nice to see the comparison between the two different intakes.

Bump for ya. I thought about posting a new thread but you have basically the same setup as me except for the heads, for the moment.

I'm wondering if its worth the cost to switch to a FAST setup.

So the plan today was to install the Fast 90/90, 98mm lid, 85mm MAF and see what kind of gains I would get..not so much. The Fast 90 has a small crack on the inside (bottom shell) so I decide to not run it despite being able to probably fix it. So now I'm sitting on a Fast 90 that I won't be using! I'm gonna sell the NW 90mm TB as well. I did however put on the 85mm MAF and 98mm Lid. No dyno tune on it yet. Don't expect anything either, just thought I would slap it on since it was a easy install. So I am going to try and hunt down a Fast 92 here at some point or maybe just invest the money in heads.

You already got it tuned & swapped in a 85mm MAF?? You might want your tuner to check it for you. I was under the impression that when switching to a 85mm MAF the tune will be off.
