It would be off. I had it tuned today for the larger MAF.

Street tune. I'm sure it picked up a few. I'm going to go look at a FAST 92 this weekend a local guy is selling. It's supposed to be brand new never ran. So if this is true and it's in good shape, I will pick it up.

Wish you would have had it dyno tuned to see if you got any power gains. I've seen some pick up 3-8rwh with the 85 maf and larger lid. Crappy deal on the fast. Is it repairable?

Please post up the Dyno graph and an idle clip if possible. Interested in Idle quality, sound and lower end torque numbers. Would this be a good cam in an auto car witha 3,000 rpm converter or would you need to go to 3,500 or higher? Really don't want to go higher than 3,000 or so since it will kill gas mileage. Looking for a somewhat mild cam that makes good numbers with the Ls6 heads? Thanks

Sold the 90 and now the new build is going to be a FAST 92/92 and some TEA Stage 2.5 LS6 Heads I'm picking up from a local guy. Both the intake and heads are new in box never ran. Got a great deal on them. I'm porting the intake as well. Hope to reach the 460RWH mark. I'm also thinking about rockers as well but not sure which route to go there being I haven't done my research yet.

I love AI but the price I got those TEA's for was to good to pass up. So what are typical gains with the trunion rockers and what do they run?

The only benefit is strength. I was going to use Harland Sharps on my car but Geoff talked me into running stock rockers with the upgraded trunion.

You will have pretty much the same setup as mine( your heads are better). It will be interesting to see how compare on the dyno

Its not really strength that your gaining more like safety. The needle bearings are caged in the new Trunions. The old ones are exposed and if a rocker were to break apart the bearings would go everywhere in your motor. The stock rockers are designed very well and are very lightweight where it counts. I changed my own out in about 30 minutes very easy to do. They run about $130 as compared to Yella Terra's $479 ish.

Yeah I wish this combo would have been avail during the time of my cam swap so I could have done it all at once. Shooting to get everything on by next month sometime.

Any links to these $130 Trunions? I checked out those Yella T's and I'm not interested in spending that kind of money. What's your guy's take on my stock injectors? My builder/tuner said my stockers would be just fine. I'm going to upgrade my lifters to some LS7's as well. Anything else you think should be done while tearing into it fellas? Timing chain and oil pump are good to go being I upgraded during the cam swap.

What kind of gas is going thru her?

Seems like at the rate you're going, eventually you will be adding even more go fast parts in the future, why max out the stockers now when you could have some bigger ones ready to go for any other "mods" down the line?
If money is tight tho, then i'd run the stock ones until you can find something a little bigger in the F/s section or local like with the fast92.
Only reason I ask about fuel is because if goin corn, you'll def need bigger injectors or if you are going to run race gas frequently too.
Good luck with the goals, car looks niice, I sorta like silver...

oh and agreed with others about the trunions upgrade, anything under 1000hp or hyd cam and the rollers aren't necessary really.

Nothing but 92 octane. After the heads and intake I'm finished. No juice or charger. Thanks btw. I like the silver too! Looks even better in person

How much compression are you running? I had to flycut my pistons because of the way TEA drops the intake valve down. I can't remember if we talked about this before or not. Some people have to flycut with TEA heads others don't so I highly suggest checking.

Get some ls2 lifter trays. They are much sturdier than the stock ls1's and will not let the lifter turn out of alignment. You need 2 per side and each one is like $8. So $32 for insurance ain't to bad if you ask me. Whatever the case is you need to check for proper length pushrod, preload, and ptv no matter what. Ws6store has both the lifter trays and comp cams trunions upgrade.

Nope, still looking for one. The one I had was a 90mm. I will check in flycutting as well. I've never done this before. How about does this get done?
