I'm glad I had it ported or the gains would have been minimal. I want the same heads you got bad! Just dont want to spend the money right now. I need a break from spending $$$$ on this car.

Good to hear some updates man. I'm waiting on some parts so I can put mine on. I got my bellows from intakehoses.com last night. SDPC is back ordered on the LS6 coolant pipe. I'm ready to get mine done and enjoy the car this year.

Those are actually good #'s considering your current cam size and heads. I'd be happy if I was you. Congrats!!

Good numbers my car has a Pat G EPS 230/234 111+lsa cam and stock 243 heads with cometic .040 gaskets. It only laid down 391rwhp on a mustang dyno. Im starting to think my stock ls6 clutch might have been slipping a tad up top.

Awesome #'s. The engine compartment is clean enough to eat off.

Really? Yeah, I would say something is out of whack somewhere. Mine layed down an even 400/385 with the 226/230 cam, bolt ons and 4.10's on a Mustang Dyno.

Read through the entire thread to find out there is still no dyno graph.

A dyno graph tells a lot more than just peak numbers.

My tuner told me it looked like the ls6 clutch started to slip alittle around 4700 rpm. I just installed a diamond stage 2 clutch so I'm sure its fine now. If the clutch wasn't the issue then I'm sure my heavy rims and stock pulley didn't help.

Thanks man! Lol I forgot about this thread...been a while since I've seen it. Hopefully the car will be faster after winter is over. Looking to install a set of 1 7/8 LT's, 243 heads, poly motor mounts and a monster stage 1 clutch.

Will this cam spec from Patrick G 226/230 .598 .600 113+4 with 243's freshly done with dual springs, ported with 1-7/8 LT's+3" exhaust un-catted, LS6 intake with a lid and a good tune get me near to 450HP? or do I need a bigger intake and throttle body?
