Here's my build thread,

It goes into some detail about checking PTV and flycutting. It's really not that tough. Are you going to pull the engine?

Is that your garage? Very nice if so. Nice car as well

So I'm curious, minus those TEA heads, what do you think realistic gains would be with a Ported Fast 92 and 92mm TB on top of my current set up? 400rwh/387rwt, 226/230 cam FYI.

They work in series of 4's, 222/226, 226/230, 230/234 etc etc..Me personally, I would step up to a bigger cam then the 224/228. Or are you trying to keep it emissions friendly? If no emissions then I would consider doing a 230/234 on a 113 or 114lsa EPS lobe cam. It will have good street manors and pull like a mother. You would easily be in the 400's w/ that.

I know this is a late reply but I found out my cam was a 224/224 581. lift on a 114LSA XER lobes.

I made 392whp and 375 torque on a mustang dyno w/ stock Ls6 heads and full exhaust not tuned. I know with a 228 and larger I should easily be over 400whp with a tune. I am strongly considering going to a bigger cam after this racing season.

The really nice garage is at the Mopar Restoration Shop I work at. The garage later on the thread is the garage at my moms house. I have yet to build a garage at the house the wife and I just bought.

I don't know much you would gain over the LS6 with the stock heads maybe 10-15.

From talking to Tony Mamo a few weeks ago regarding basically the same question, he said you will see more benefit from the FAST intake with aftermarket/ported heads.

Oh, I'm right there with you. I've decided to not run the TEA heads and save up for some AFR's or heads through AI. So the plan of attack at this point is, get the FAST 92 ported by a local guy. Install it w/ a 92mm TB, tune it and see what happens

I bought it through EPS w/ Geoff over the phone. I'm excited as well. Hoping to get it in the 415 range w/ the port job. Anything more would be great of course

Putting a fast on it huh? I like the 92. Don't forget to take the ball out before you put it on.

Catch up in the power department? From the looks of your sig, you've already surpassed me in that area. As far as looks go, we would have to park them side by side Appearance wise, I'm about to re-tint the front windows, put my ws6store slotted rotors on and I'm doing the CETA mod. Everything else is dialed in other then that.

true. but we are going in very different directions with our cars that's for sure. i'm sure someone out there is gonna flame me for being too over the top . no ram air stripes for the hood? that's my last appearance mod, this hood with the flat black stripes has got to go.

and let me know how those brakes work out. i'm wanting to do a C5 ZO6 upgrade on the front but if i don't need to go that crazy with it i won't.

I like a real clean look myself. Less bling the better IMO. Keep you posted on the brakes/pads. I would like to do the C5's but too much $$$. I would invest in heads before that mod.

BTW, Just got the Fast 92 back from from being ported by LS2PORTWORKS. Have some dyno numbers for the new intake & TB by the 1st or 2nd of April.

Just got the car off a Mustang Dyno since the Ported Fast 92 went on. It picked up 14rwh and pretty much same torque wise trough stock 241 heads and a small 226/230 cam. All it's missing now is some heads.
