Default G5X-3 on 112, PP Stage II LS6 w/59cc #'s inside

Just got back from MTI Dyno Day...uncorrected numbers are:

450.9 rwhp, 419.0 rwtq, with verter locked
443.4 rwhp, 430.1 rwtq, with verter unlocked

SAE corrected #'s

431.0 rwhp, 401.2 rwtq, locked
423.6 rwhp, 411.2 rwtq, unlocked

Overall I'm very pleased. I thought I would have about 10 HP more, but I am running a conservative tune, so that I can spray a 125 shot later on down the road.

Here is the car setup:

01-WS6 A4, PP Stage II LS6 heads, G5X-3 cam on 112 LSA, Pacesetter L/T with ORY and QTEC, ASP Puelly, MTI lid, MTI T/B, MTI tuning, Stage II 4L60E, with Yank PYE 3600, M/T streets 26psi, Stock 10 bolt with 3.23's.
This is on a very safe tune for nitrous use. Jayson has me tuned a tad bit rich, and running 27* of timing. These runs are from an A4 with a PYE 3600 stall, stock 10 bolt with 3.23's, and 26 PSI in tires. Air filter was removed, I dont run with one at the track so I didn't see the point in running with one on the dyno. All Patriot trash talkers
Once again I would like to compliment Terry and Lou. They both have great products on their hands. Now if I can just get my suspension to handle the power.

you should give JFM a pm and see what's different with his car, he has just about the exact setup but different heads and made 446 unlocked. I believe his timing was @ 28 and his car is running kind of fat. But maybe theres something else he has you dont. good luck

Thanks for the compliments guys. I'll try to get the graphs up and posted on Monday. I'll have to use the scanner at work.

Yeah I was very impressed with the converter effeciency. I guess that's why the PYE series cost so damn much But, it's money well spent.

Those are very nice numbers.
Just to compare your cam to a little T1 221/221 .559/.559 112 cam with MTI IIE heads & an otherwise similar setup as yours (FLP headers) & SS3600 Yank converter. Jason dynoed mine at 413 hp and 397.x torque. Basically your cam & heads are worth 18 more hp and ~4 more torque.
Unlocked it was like 398 hp & 415 torque. Corrected numbers. Oh yeah, I forgot to open my cutout so that was through the Corsa muffler.
Looks like a nice setup you have with that cam.

W/Mti Stg 2 heads LS1 heads and their X1 thru a stock 4l60 and 323's I was pulling close if not the same number....Did Jayson due your tune? he did mine and mine was fantastic.....

we originally got 420's..but bumped up the timine to 30degrees and picked up that much. And my car was still on the rich side!!!! after taking the heads off...you could see carbon build up on the pistons....but the car never ever acted up.

Much props to u and the boys at MTI!! Way to go Jayson!!

PS. Mine was with a Vig 4000 3 Dis Verter and got about the same effeciency......yes..both yanks and multi-discs are in the 1000 dollar range but wouldn't agree the the effeciency is definitly worth it.

I've got some preliminary track #'s the other day. I had never been to a track before, so there is a slight learning curve. I'll be going back next week, and will share my results with everyone. I'll be doing suspension mods all week.

From what i understand Jayson did do the so called tune on his car, but its no where near where it is suppose to be so these numbers are pretty good and im sorry to say they are in no way all thanks to MTI

Youre also talking a standard off the shelf CNC head (means all heads are the same) as opposed to a custom ported set of heads.
