Unlocked vs Locked can show a huge difference. My 4,500rpm verter that was in my old 4L80E would rob about 9.5% on the dyno (449rwhp locked / 402rwhp unlocked). Those numbers were on a dyno jet with:

347ci
11.1 - 1 cr
Trex Cam
Ported Heads
Single plain intake
Dominator TB
EWP
1 3/4 stepped to 1 7/8 headers

be curious to see what you get. of course comparing a dynograph to a dynograph isn't the most accurate way of going about things. I have yet to re-dyno after the car put down 435rwhp with a sub-10:1 pig rich afr, with this same cam and a set of TSP stage 2.5 5.3L heads, LS6 intake manifold.

The AFRs were corrected and I am trapping 127 with a 2,850# car . It appears I am making somewhere in the 450-460rwhp range.

Odd thing happened on the dyno also. I decided to go speed dendity because my tuner got my ve table spot on and went to plug the maf back in to mess with the table and car would crank up and shoot straight lean and die. Unplug the maf and it run perfect. Plug it back in and back to ****.

Its amazing what a 4000 stall will eat up HP wise, Most really good converters still slip 5-10% after stall so thats why there is a LOT of A4 guys pissed at their engine builders LOL

The dyno I was on is not the most forgiving. Im happy with my results, I thought they would have been higher but it drives good and has already taken many new victims that the auto couldnt handle.

redyno'd the car today.. ended up making 449.7 hp.. but this was also with the a/c now on the car so its having to turn that belt/pulley and it was 98* in the shop with 90% humidity.. so it was HOT to say the least
