also by looking at your 1/8th mile it looks so close to mine. with the power your making you should be a little higher, like 102ish try shifting high after you redyno. see how long she hold power. and shift where she first starts to fall off. also log a pass looks like your car is also like mine in the aspect of its not really getting in its power band till half track. due to getting off the line slugish.

it was 2995 on the indy scales after all motor passes. with stock front brakes, lower/upper A arms, spindles, PS.

Its lighter now with the burkhart stuff, and drag front brakes. But I need to add weight to be 3050 for all motor at MIR. I haven't ran DS2 all year those are about 20 lighter then the Nexen radials I'm running now.

I only made a few passes at Indy it did do that 30mph backhalf in that lane, but thats not normal. There trimmers were different or something, in NY and MIR is always been 10x in the 1/8th and never had a +30 beofre I can think of. The trans needs to be freshened so I had to shift slow, the more shifts in the front half add up. The shifting as sucked all year.

Did your "Cam Only" LQ9 come stock with that LS intake on it?

Wish I could afford a $1,000 - 1,500 intake set up.

I got it now, you have a 1978 Caprice, with a junkyard Lq9 longblock, a different GM intake, TB, accessories, Cam only setup.
But I'm lying about having a cam only setup for putting a fast intake on.

Cam Only does NOT mean a Cam PLUS a $1,000 - 1,500 Intake and throttle body. That would be a Cam & Intake set up.... NOT "cam only".
Want to know what annoys me? When people try to correct someone who is right, by trying to sound smart on the Internet, when they're wrong. Studderin isn't lying about anything on his car. I've seen him race at the local tracks and his car progressing with the mods first hand. Learn what a "cam only" setup means before you just go calling someone a liar.

Is the cam single or dual pattern?

I think where the real problem lies with these petty quibbles is when somebody acts as if they are the authority on the matter. This is one of those things where the meaning of "cam only" is an agreed terminology by a group of people.

To anyone outside the group, it could mean a lot of things. Only people who have active exposure to and/or participation in the group knows what others are referring to when they use the term.

Why not address the situation by putting it forth as a question for clarity instead of accusing somebody of deliberately misleading people?
