You put all these people together and you get some results that are worth sharing
Specs:
LME Built 402 11.78 Compression
Advanced Induction ported, Milled & modified L92's
Mamo Ported FAST 102mm
23x/24x Hyd Roller cam
Kooks 1-7/8" LT's with 3" ORY with flowmaster merge to 4'' Dynomax Dump
Chrs1313 RA to FTP 104mm lid
Stock Waterpump, All accessories
10% UDP
FLT T56
McLeod RXT
Dana S60 w/ 4.10 gears
AMS Speed Density Dyno Tuned
Results are 495/505 on AMS Mustang Dyno
Needless to say I'm very happy with the results and I want to give major props to all the sponsors involved and everyone that answered pm's and provided tips during this build. The cam works very well with this setup and the tuner at AMS spent alot of time working on every aspect of the tune to make sure it was right, The driveability and throttle response are amazing I can drop it in 6th and cruise around at 1k rpm with no surge or bucking.
I don't have any track numbers on the setup YET I never got to make it out before they all closed but I do plan to have some NA slips in the spring before we put the bottle on it.
Below is the dyno sheet and a quick video clip & dyno video Enjoy!

mustang dyno, s60 and what looks like decently heavy rims and that combo still put down those numbers. sounds wicked man and i bet it's a blast to drive. for the AI L92's. I plan to give the guys a call and ask, but what made you choose the L92's over the worked 243's? I plan to do a 402/408 build in a few weeks and have been questioning whether to take my 243's and have them worked, or sell them and get the L92's from AI. any input would be great. again congrats

Since you plan to build a motor as well talk with A.I about what your planning to do and see what they recommend. They can talk with your builder and help select proper piston for the right quench, compression ratio and ect...
Really? I didn't think any tracks were still open do you know how track prep is for the event? Might be something worth trying to check out.

Hey David
it has been nice to continue to work with you on the project and we appreciate the credit
I wish we could have got it back out after the last cam swap to see how it would run, but there is always next season.
I'm sure we will see you before the racing season hits for a few more upgrades

It appears to be in correct form.
Np Larry... It would of been nice to get back out one last time but it wasn't in the schedule even on New Years day I couldn't get any time off. I will definitely be in contact
I've thought about throwing it on a dynojet and compare numbers but probably won't have the time. The real results I'm looking for are at the track! I'm gonna need all that tq to get my heavy *** car down the track.

I do agree the street and track is where it counts and it should run even better then before with the latest cam

Not bad, funny how the tq is higher and on a stang dyno. I use a stang dyno and it killed the tq worse then the power over a jet. i got 545hp 484tq on a 402ci. also....i removed my l92 ported heads for trick flow 235 heads and gained 10hp on peak,20hp under the curve and 15 tq all over..i lowered the compression on the trickflow and still gained all that. something to think about.. I have a lil larger cam, still on mass air but lower compression then you do. I went near 3 tenths faster and on a much worse 60 foot using the trickflow head. also, this same set up on a different mustang dyno had me at 470hp...that dyno keeps the numbers for lunch. I run near 132mph in a car close to 3,700lbs with me in it.

They do and your setup really shines with those heads.
Well if thats the case it's a good thing I got my pre & post results on the same dyno with 3 graph printouts that look identical besides the HP/TQ numbers
Yea I followed your thread for awhile, I actually wanted to Trickflow 235's but decided to go with the L92's. I do believe the TFS heads are a good head but not sure it would be a wise investment to spend 2-4k for heads and a new ported fast for a small gain if this setup doesn't work out like planned... When I'm done and tired of this setup I will go bigger cubed with FI and just turn up some boost vs tearing into a motor.
