Nice numbers! What do you plan on doing with the car? Just DDing, racing, or what?

Good numbers! This is a similar setup to mine (cam/heads). Glad to get some real numbers to back up my "seat of the pants dyno."

Im happy with the results, specially considering the mileage. I wanted to upgrade to a fast intake, but thats like an additional $1k+ for may be 10-15rwhp, and I wanted to keep this under a decent budget but also make this motor last.

I might take it to the strip a few times, but its mainly just a fast street car with good street manners. I only drive it when its nice out and I dd my 96 jeep grand cherokee.

How would you rate your experience with MC Racing? Also, could you PM me what the cost was for the dynotune? I'll be needing a place to get my WS6 tuned in the near future.

Nice Numbers! Love my 228r 110lsa. Mine only put down 385rwhp 377tq with stock heads though.

They were pretty good, my car drives pretty good and they got the car tuned well. My only complaint could be they were not the friendliest people but they were by no means rude. Im pretty sure they are the only ones who tune in the KC area. House of boost no longer does tuning. And it was $430 for the tune and took about 2.5 hours.

good numbers for the setup but i have a concern of my own for and its that they only had your car for two hours for tuning? How does the car drive? Usually a head cam package will take alittle bit longer then two half hours to get the tune perfect.

There is some surging in first and second. Kind of depends though, sometimes it will a little bit and other times it wont. Im still on the stock 3.42 gears too.

Anyone else have an idea of how much surging there should be acceptable?

Hey well My car does surge when i am in low of a gear and it is annoying! My car is cam only and it has been awhile since it was tuned but If i remember correctly he only tuned my car for about an hour for the cam! (it had been tuned their before for bolt ons tho). It still surges but I have grown to live with it the passed 15k miles.

if the car is tuned properly there should be no surging at all especially with a cam of that size.

Nice numbers! That is the same cam I want and I'm not sure on heads yet. I live in southwest ks and I need a place to get a dyno tune. Does anybody know if there is good dyno tune shop in wichita?

How do you like the spec 3 clutch? When I first did H/C/I on my z28 I ran one and ended up swapping for the ls7, but there seems to be mixed feelings on them.

Thank you for the information regarding your experience with them. I'm in Jefferson City, MO, so I'm a little closer to St. Louis than I am to K.C., so I'm keeping my options open when it comes time for a dynotune. Congrats on your setup. Great numbers that you can really use on the street and strip.
