Default MS3 with LS6 heads and intake results...

Well I finally got a chance to get the SS tuned and dynoed. This was a quick little budget build I did in my garage and I'm proud of the results.

The car made 432hp and 395 Tq. This is on a M6 2000 ls1 (118k miles) with Pacesetter Lts, TSP ORY, Corsa, TSP lid w/ K&N, ported TB, LS6 intake, TSP MS3, and a set of stock LS6 heads. The car has a Moser 12 bolt with 4.10s, a huge Strange chromoly drive shaft, and stock (118k mile) clutch.

I took it to Bryan at Reckart Performance Tuning in Austin TX, and this guy knows his stuff. He got the A/F perfect, drivabilty is great, and he did it all in about 2 hours. He said my injectors are maxed out and could used a bigger maf. I also think we could have squeezed a couple more out if it if the clutch wasn't giving out, and the weather was a bit cooler. All in all I am really happy with these numbers considering it was through a 12 bolt with 4.10s.

I plan to go back soon once I get a set of injectors, bigger maf, a new clutch, and 150 shot of nitrous.

I will try to post a idle vid when I get a chance, it sounds amazing through Cosra.

Here is a pic of the Dyno sheet.

Awesome numbers through stock 243's! Just imagining with some tea ported 243's and a fast! Curious to why the power leveled off at 62-6300 rpm

Thanks! My guess is because the intake is chocking it down.

I tried to upload a vid of the Idle but for some reason my camera is not up loading vids to my comp.

Awesome man! I think we'd make a good race with you still on motor Although you're making about 25 more hp with the 243s

LS6 heads(243 casting) and the 405 hp LS6 cam. Can get both for $500-$600

There is also a head with the same port as the LS6 but lowers the compression but I cant remember the casting number, with those you could up the boost.

I think they are the 317s that come on the Lq9s...
You could find a set of those puppies cheap on several forums....
