That will be nice. A twin would have been great but I had already spent a big amount of money on the cam and everything. Let me know how you enjoy it.

Following up on my Build, Eric set me up with a MWC 9" with a 3.70 gear, Short tq arm, While i wait for the rear end to show up, I'm going to rid my motor of it's restrictions. the hand ported 243's, 1 3/4 pacesetters, & ls6 intake are all coming off in favor of AI's CNC port work, 1 7/8th kooks, & Fast 92mm.

I like how my car drives right now, It absolutely KILLS from a roll, We all want to go faster once we get used to our modifications as time goes by right? The rear end is going to be helping me with my 60 ft times, my lowest 60 ft was on my first pass right after the build at 1.64 on just Secondhand LCA's, and 555r's rest of the suspension is bone stock. I don't see very many people In Houston doing that.

Hey look who showed up to the party! Can't wait to see the results from the swap, it will be impressive for sure! I know you won't be afraid to take it to the track and see what it gained there either.

I don't think that would be out of the question!

That bump in compression will wake the car up no doubt as far as throttle response goes for sure and the port work will turn it into an absolute beast no doubt.

My car has an eaton tru trac with 3.70s. They whine a bit which can be annoying. However they feel amazing and the rear end feels so much tighter. You will have a new car with all those mods at one time. 11s for sure.

I'd like to learn more about this cam and what makes it good (also the down side that kept you from using it) please. If you don't want to threadjack, a PM with a link in it or anything else would be appreciated!

I have got to get out to the track. My goal is to run as close to an 11.5 as possible this upcoming year. In a way I want them to ask me to either slow down or come back with a roll cage.

Which one? The Street Heat Stage 2 or what I would use if this car was going to be run cam-only?

I was referring to the 'SNS' Torque Cam you mentioned, is that the one you would use if the car was going to be run "cam-only?"

I have 6 different "SNS" Torque cams, but yes I would choose one of those to be run "cam-only". If ultimate power was the goal I would use 235/243 .621"/.624" 111+2 and if drivability was a concern while still wanting ultimate power I'd choose 227/235 .614"/.621" 110+3 or 231/235 .617"/.621" 111+2.

Assuming idle quality was not a concern, but maximum area under the (horsepower) curve was the goal, which of those would be your pick?

For that cam, at what RPM would the power tail off?

Second (goofy) question, if one decided thereafter to setup a turbo on that motor, I'm thinking a cam like that would be good assuming consideration was given to pressure ratios by choosing a turbo with the correct wheels and housings. Agree, or disagree?

Thanks for sharing your insights, I appreciate it! Sorry if it's too much of a threadjack, I can take it to PMs if you prefer!

It's no problem asking questions, it's good if anyone else has the same question they can see it answered if needed.

If idle quality was not a concern, and you wanted maximum power under the curve, the 227/235 110+3 is tuff to beat. If you wanted more power up top after 6200rpm the 231/235 111+2 would be my pick.

Installed my Fast 102 today. Getting re-tuned tomorrow so this thread will be updated with new numbers and some pulls in car. Hoping for 25whp/25tq.

Heres how she pulls now. I've ran a best of 8.18@92mph before. I usually trapped 90-91. I have never had this car at a 1/4 mile track but plan on hitting one really soon.
