Default 40rwhp+ Gains From New 225 Camshaft--->

Here's a quick graph of the new 225 camshaft we've been helping to develop. The camshaft features fast ramps & aggressive lift to produce awesome power for such a small camshaft. The test car is a bolt on automatic car with the following mods:
225/225 .589/.589 112+2
Automatic
Headers
Rumbler Catback
TSP Lid
Stock T.b.
Ls6 intake
TSP Tuning before & After

Not bad for a 225 cam

awesome numbers. i would also like to know. i am sure it is unlocked looking at the rpm shutoff point. most locked dynos are way high rpm. nice low peaking cam. you feel it is that much better than a 224 duration xer grind (the standard it seems lately)?

It looks like it makes barely over stock torque.

Did you record any figures after the cam install, but before the tuning?

There's a new thread near the top of this page with another car's results with this camshaft and the new 5.3L race heads, and a graph is included

Trevor I'd like to see a graph of this cam with a descent head and a 4000+ converter if you guys dyno one. I have the 228R and would like to know what kinda of performance difference I'd see between the two.

M6 cars only put down 5% more HP and TQ than A4's. Do the math. It made 374 RWHP and 364 RWTQ. In a M6 it would make 19 more RWHP and 18 more RWTQ. This would equate to 393 RWHP and 382 RWTQ. Not a big deal in my book. There are a lot of guys making these numbers or more with a smaller cam.

Just my opinion so all you TSP fans can chill out. I like them as well.
