Default First time to the dyno what do you all think?

Hello guys, I took my 2002 ws6 to the dyno today and wasnt too satisfied but let me know what you think. The cars has a torquer v2 cam on a 112 lsa, has longtubes, custom made spintech dual exhaust, lid, wires, and a OK steeet tune. I hardly drive the car so the gas had like 2 weeks, oil little bit more than 4 months (only 2000 miles) and ls6 clutch which was slippin a little bit. Is it ok for the mods?
Posting graph soon.

Well...consider this: My ride (mods in sig) made 405 on one dynojet and 460 on another dynojet. I know crazy right lol? Well regardless of those numbers I was within a car length of my buddy's ported/pullied 03 Cobra which is around 500 rwhp on his dyno lol

Basically The only main thing I have over you is heads...same intake, same cam, and we both have a full exhaust and tune. Running it at the track is the only way to tell the true power

What did your tuner say? Has he dynoed other LS1's before? On my 405 run the guy told me almost all HCI LS1's make anywhere from 390-420 on his dyno so go figure lol

See here's the thing: Dynos can vary quite a bit! With that in mind your numbers are not out of the norm...some dynos may put you closer to 400...some less than what you have now. All that matters is how it runs and performs against other cars and at the track

380 is common but I bet a full tune would net some more. If all you have is exhaust and cam then all the small detail like lid, smooth bellow, ported throttle body , underdrive pulley, if you dont have one already ls6 intake, good clutch thats not slipping, lightweight flywheel. Heavy *** wheels will hurt numbers as well, optimum tire pressure (small dyno trick). If the dyno operator knows what he is doing the dyno will read right. Fresh fluids play a factor and even though 2000 doesnt seem like a lot of miles but the oil still is broken down enough to not lubricate efficiently but thats splitting hairs on hp. But all of it working together will achieve in the end more overall hp..

I'd seriously not worry about those numbers at all man. Regardless of those particular dyno numbers i'm sure your car is where it's supposed to be
