Default LG Motorsports: New G5X3/114 Dyno Results (447.5RWHP / 413.4RWTQ)

Finally added the LG 90 TB and FAST 90 Intake to my cam only G5X3/114 package. The results were 447.5 RWHP / 413.4 RWTQ - this was in complete street trim as I drive it everyday.

Just for grins next I did the Electric Water Pump setup (aka no belt) and did 458.1RWHP and 421.9RWTQ

Here is an overlay of the progression of dyno's with the addition of the TB/Intake.

Last here is a new video of the dyno.

If you have any questions or would like more information about the package please let me know or feel free to call us at 972-272-7753.

How does the low-end compare between these three cams:
- g5x-3
- g5x-2
- 224/224 .581 112 XE-R

I currently have the G5X-2 cam, but still woundering if I should go with something smaller for more low-end around town....do you have any graphs comparing the G5 cams to other smaller cams?

in the graphs this car (as well as most other g5x2/3 cars) are making great low end torque...

in the graphs you can see he is making 300rwtq at 2k rpm where the pulls are started...

i doubt you will see more low end on a smaller cam, and the top end won't be as good with a smaller cam other variables aside...

i would stick with the g5x2...its a good choice

there must be tons of g5x2 graphs...a search would help...

here is a thread

I am curious as to what these same combos would produce in a M6 f-body w. 12 bolt and 4.10s at stock weight.

the AF IS perfect for max power, problem is, when you take it to the street it will run leaner, I always shoot for about a half point richer than my target AFR, this is safer, and performs better on the street/track. ~12.6:1 AFR would be perfect, this when tuning on a dynojet 248, other dynos like a load bearing ones will simulate a very similar load to the street, so you can just tune for max power and be done with it.

With that A/F on the dyno, the FJO Is perfectly happy at our target WOT, 4th gear at 150 mph.

I only use 93 octane gas and this is the same tune I run on the street and the track including many 20-30 minutes sessions. Data logging and inspection of the plugs indicate optimal combustion is occuring.

What we have seen is that the low end is almost exactly the same for te G5X-3 vs G5X-2 But the high end is better on the G5X-3. The other difference is that the G5X 2 on the same lobe center will idle slightly better.

Thanks

Currently I have the LG Pro Long Tube headers (without cats) and a Borla Competion catback. Sorry, did not see the question earlier...
