Default Tick built 347, stock 241's, stock LS6 intake, T-trim@14psi=700rwhp

Thought I'd share this little motor we put together for a customer of ours. This was a budget build where we tried to save as much cost as possible, with out going cheap on the stuff that counts.

This is a C5 Corvette convertible and is a very nice, clean car for how old it is. This customer of ours also has 2 other brothers that we built cars for, and now they're already planning their own upgrades to keep up with him! LOL!

Breakdown of parts on the car:
LS6 block bored .005 over
Stock LS6 crank
Scat H-beam rods with ARP 2000 bolts
Wiseco -12cc pistons 3.903" bore steel top ring yields 9.6:1 compression
ARP Main studs
ACL main bearings
Clevite rod bearings
Durabond cam bearings
ARP head studs
LS9 gaskets
Stock 241 heads with valve job milled to 61cc
Tick Performance custom centrifugal blower cam 234/242 .612"/.592" 114lsa
A&A 8-rib C5 supercharger kit with Vortech T-trim blower@14psi
Innovator's West 8-rib balancer
ATI crankshaft pin kit
Kooks 1.875" headers and Kooks ORX
Factory 2.5" cat-back
93 octane pump gas no methanol injection
Lonnies dual in tank fuel pumps
Siemens Deka 60lb injectors and they are MAXED out!
Stock fuel lines

The T-trim is pretty much a D1SC FWIW.

Pretty damn impressive. Looks like it's time for a Meth kit.

Thanks Nathan!

BTW our dyno's wide band is .7-.9 leaner than the wide band we use to tune the vehicle with. It's not really 12.5 AFR. It's more like 11.6-11.8 and timing is conservative at 14*.

Very very impressive numbers and great list of mods
I bet the car will be around 730rwhp just by swapping the catback the C5's stock catback is very crappy unless its C5 ZO6 Ti catback.

XSpower '3 catback for Jon will be awesome.

BOOSTED LS engines are just absurd..that thing is making over 800 flywheel
ponies with production 241s, conservative boost, and a safe tune.....

This car could see 800rwhp IMO.

A set of TFS As Cast 220's with some of Chris Frank or Brian Tooley's handiwork, methanol injection, smaller pulley and FIC 1000cc injectors and we'd easily be over 750rwhp and well over 775rwhp.

The car should trap 142-144mph in the 1/4. If the owner can get a 10.99 out of it on street tires he will be ecstatic.

Nice work Martin. I doubt it with stock lines but was this a stock fuel line with a 1 to 1 regulator anywhere to increase fuel pressure with boost?

What was the IDC at?

Thanks,
glenn

Stock fuel lines and no aftermarket BRFPR installed.

I'll ask Jonathan, but I believe they were in the 100+% IDC range.

Whenever he can make what he has now hook.

Ordering MT ET Street II's 305/35/18 for the rear so he can attempt to gain some traction.

The car would be even more of a beast had it gotten what I would consider an optimal camshaft for this combination. That would have about 6-10 degrees less intake duration. He'd never be able to keep it on the road with the torque it'd make then.

He absolutely wanted a nasty sounding idle, and 10 degrees of overlap was all I was willing to grind so it didn't affect power production considerably.
