Default C6/LS3/Cam only/482rwhp&450rwtq

Thought I'd share these results with you guys as I'm pretty happy with how they turned out for a smaller camshaft.

Customer wanted a drivable cam that made great power across the curve. He was looking at a few larger camshafts such as the G6X3 and the TSP 235/239 so I suggested what I felt was a better profile(smaller) to meet his requirements.

At the customer's request I cannot release cam specs on this custom grind, but I will say it's not what I consider very big. 220's intake duration, low 240's exhaust duration and it is ground on a 112LSA. Intake lift is under .620" and exhaust lift is under .600".

Details:

-LS3 C6 Grand Sport
-Stock bottom end
-Stock LS3 heads
-Stock LS3 intake
-Haltech Super Bee MF107R cold air intake system
-Ported LS3 TB
-Kooks 1x7/8" headers with 3" ORX
-NPP Exhaust
-Tick Performance Custom Camshaft
-BTR "Platinum" .660" lift dual springs
-Comp Cams 5/16" .105" wall push rods
-Tuning done by New Era Performance

SAE Corrected numbers:

400rwtq@3600rpm from heads that "can't make torque". Not to mention the table top torque curve. I think I'm in love...

Customer is very happy with drivability.

This cam is very very similar to our new Saturday Night Special LS3 Stage 2 TorqueMAX cam.

You can expect near identical results with a little more torque under the curve from the Stage 2.

That's great torque from a rectangle port headed engine. Good job. Lopey idle or smooth?

It has a nasty lope to it when the baffles in the NPP exhaust are open.

With them closed I bet it's quite smooth.

Trying to get the idle video posted up for you guys with the NPP exhaust open.
