Default Not sure what to think

I have an ls2 ta, It dynoed 408hp and 382ft. Mods are Ls3 top end, TSP 231/236 .644"/613" 111 lsa cam, 3600 stall, 3.73 gears and some suspension mods. The car ran 11.7xxx @ 117 untuned at the time with a 1.9 60ft. Are these numbers for this setup good, average or bad? I have been told by a few shops the cam is too big and would make better power if I swap to a smaller one.

That cam is absolutely not too big...I run a 230/238 in a ls1 and plenty of people run much larger.

Was the converter locked or unlocked? If it ran 117mph untuned I would bet your are doing pretty damn good. Go run it again and see how it does. Your 60ft sucks though, should be able to get that down to a high 1.6 without much effort on a 3600 converter.

I feel the same way but I can't put my finger on where i'm losing at. I do still have the stock 140k fuel pump on there, cheap headers and the transmission did give up a couple weeks after it was tuned so idk

If you are running 117 in the 1/4 screw the dyno, you are doing good. As said above work on getting your 60' lower.

This right here. If you ran that time and achieved that trap speed UNTUNED, then **** the dyno numbers because they are obviously off. ET's and trap speeds don't lie.

That's not bad for being untuned. Get your 60ft down and get it tuned, your cam isn't too big but smaller cams seem to do real good. I did a BTR stage 2 in a 13 SS that put down 471rwhp 439rwtq and a customers 11 SS put down 473rwhp with the same tsp cam you have, both m6 cars. I have an L92 6.2 10.4:1 compression with ls3 heads tick stage 2 cam 231 240 112 LSA .617/.589 lift in my ws6 ta 3600 stall 3.23 rear and I ran 11.58@117 with a 1.67 60ft (traction limited) still running through the stock catback and 1 3/4 hooker headers and y pipe. It still has a lot more in it and I haven't finished up the tune but I'll be changing up a few things this week.

I just realized that sorry. Sounds like there is a lot left in it... Were those numbers on a dynojet or mustang?

What tires?
If it were my car I would think something was wrong.
What DA did you run in?

Get some better tires to get the 60' down. You didn't take it to a track after your tune so do that and see what you can get. Also what does your car weigh?

Just to get an idea of the DA of your passes go here and look up your track.
http://www.dragtimes.com/da-density-...calculator.php

Its all important info that you need to know. My stock stall bolt on car used to run 13.19 in 2200 DA and 12.63 in -1200 DA. As you can see it makes a huge difference.

Updated with new track results...... I bought brand new mickey thompson et street drag radials and got the car tuned now I'm running 11.9 @115 with a 1.7 60ft, I thought the car would he quicker after the tune it but my times got slower. My tuner says its the weather but idk, he lowered the shift point from 7,100 to 6,600. What you guys think?
