Wow!!!! That is killer.. You mentioned everything but what cam and compression you are running. Also was this dyno on 93 octane.

Thats some big HP #s, just wish it sounded better so it was the lifters making that awful noise. That must be a relief.

Actually the noise is still not precisely located. They think it may be a wristpin as he mentioned.

The noise is definitely not valvetrain related though, or so they think at this point.

Do u think when u 1st tuned it u might detonated it with 93 octane and took out a WP?
Lets face it 12:1 is still pretty high for 93 and FL heat.

I'm sure 10SecZ (Carter) or Angst911 (Matt) can step in with the specifics but I am pretty sure that it was tuned by Jeremy before it was ever initially started. If I remember correctly it was early in the AM so it wouldn't be that hot. I am pretty sure they didn't touch the timing all that much save mid-rpm mid-load or something. Matt probably remembers.

where did you dyno? and i never thought Jeremy's tuning was bad to begin with Vince? that compression with pump gas in FL is pretty crazy. all in the tune. that cam does bleed off some compression though

What are the flow numbers on the PP S3 heads? They must flow decent numbers to support that HP with that cam size

The Patriot S3 heads will go 330+ cfm. This has been tested on our Superflow 1020 with a 4.155 bore. The chamber was unshouded to 4.125. A hand finished set should go a few cfm better.

Still guys 93 octane and 12:1CR in Fl and one bad pull and u have a knock in your motor.I wouldve fired it up on a mix of 93/VP Motorsports 103 unleaded and tuned it in but that just me.

The dyno numbers are sick..
PP heads and JD's shortblock look pretty good to me.

I never said Jeremys tuning was bad, but he has improved.
