Default 427" LS3 Engine Dyno Results

Dyno'd the street engine for my 4th gen Firebird earlier this week.

427ci LS3 (4.070 x 4.100), 11.5:1 - prepped by HKE and myself
LS3 heads done by AirFlow Development (Dennis Wheet)
Holley Hi Ram also done by AFD, 102mm NW TB.
Cam Motion solid roller, Jesel/Morel valvetrain
Kooks 2" primary headers. (Tiny 3" collector, being changed)
Moroso vacuum pump (8-9"~ of vac, being fixed and increasing to 16"~)
Bigstuff 3 COP

Has another 30hp+ in it easily, dynoing again in a few weeks after some minor fixes. Not bad for a OEM head/block deal.

Badass build!! Is the car go be a automatic or a 6 speed? Compression looks very pump gas friendly by the way.... must plan on seeing a lot of street duty ?

Car is TH400, but it would be tons of fun with a t56. And yes will be on the street a good bit.

If you don't mind me asking, what timing and plugs were you using? Were they optimized on the dyno, or were any changes made?

Very nice results by the way!

TR6, it ended up liking 24.5-25.0 deg of timing and 12.7-12.9 AFR. We made about 15 pulls

Nice power, Jon. Do you plan to try and extend the peak HP RPM anymore since you have solid lifters?

Yeah I was surprised the HP peaked as low as it did, valvetrain is good for alot more RPM so it would be neat to try..... Not sure that I'm going to make any big changes to shift the power up though.

Nice job. How do solid rollers hold up on the street these days?
