Default High mileage short blocks and dyno numbers

Ok I've always been curious as to how those higher mileage engines are holding up on the dyno.. If you have a GM stock short block (gen II - IV) with 75,000 miles or more at the time of your build post your setup, mileage, rwhp/rwtq and/or 1/4 mile times.. Let the fun begin lol..

My old setup in sig made 450/438 with 172k on the complete stock drivetrain when mods were done. I daily drove it until it had 240,xxx or so on it. Was running fine when I sold it.

Why such a huge cam with stock heads?

His 1/4 is more reflective of the fact that it's a fully loaded convertible, IE weight. For the weight and power, that's a pretty good 1/4 time/mph

Actually I think that's a good time for an M6 cutting a 1.9 60ft. I wasn't bragging about my current set up. Just stating what it is. Everyone on the forum knows I'd pick us substantially with heads.

If you're on MT ET streets, your 1.9 60' could be from the lack of torque and mid range power. I don't think your trap speed is bad, but some gears would drastically drop your ET. What do you rev that thing to?

I haven't ran it on the ET streets yet. The times are from worn out nitto nt555r. I have my shift light at 6700. My gears are fine for my 10 bolt. They are 3.90s.

Default High mileage short blocks and dyno numbers

Did HCI to the Camaro at 145k miles. Everything's in sig:

AFR 205's @ 59cc
BTR platinum springs / Ti Retainers
7.4 5/16" pushrods
LS7 lifters
Stock GM MLS .051 head gaskets
Fast / NW 92
Ed Curtis 229/236 .631.631 112+2
Monster 2 clutch
SLP lid and Speed Density tuned

460/420 corrected, Tuned by Geoff Skinner @ EPS

I beat on that car till I sold her @ approximately 165k miles? A guy drove from Nebraska to me (Louisiana) to pick her up.
