Default 408 build. Numbers are finally in!

For those of you who have followed previous threads of mine I was always worried about what the motor would make. Yesterday it had a few pulls on the dyno. Motor made 619HP and 580TQ at the flywheel. Motor was still being broken in and he didn't make a max effort pull. My setup is as follows.

11:0:1 compression
Dart 225 cnc heads
Intake and fuel system is all holley
60# injectors
1-7/8 headers
237/242 60*/60* 113LSA
JE pistons
Forged lower end

I feel these are solid numbers. What are some of your opinions ln it? Right where it should be or should i have expected more?

Yes, sorry 11:0:1 sorry for the excitement typo haha. I do not have the chart yet. I will obtain the chart when I pick up the engine. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Awesome! Glad to hear that. Thanks for your input. The first pull made 570 if that means anything.

That should be 500+ to the ground. I'm hoping for similar results with my 408 build (head swimming on cam choice...too many opinions)

Thanks guys! I would love to be ~500 rwhp. The builder figured I'd be around 420 rwhp because at this moment I only have 2.5" true duals and it's going thru a th350 with 3600 stall and 8.5" 10 bolt with 3.73s. Once the motor is in I'll have the rw numbers. Goal is 10s. Car is am 86 cutlass 442.

I doubt it'll rob that much! Track times are all that really matter anyway

The builder also said they just built an ls that made 430 rwhp and ran 10.8s all day long. A high dyno number would be cool for bragging rights but a faster 1/4 is even cooler. Haha

Im not really sure. All I know is that they were cnc ported? I also misinterpreted what he was saying for the power it made. It made 608hp 575tq he said once the the rings and everything seal from driving it it should pick up another 20HP.

I'd be pretty happy with those numbers. Should be a torque monster on the street.

The front suspension is completely stock and will remain stock for a while. It's basically just a street car. Won't see much strip at all.

Thank you. I do have one picture but it's not too great of quality and I don't even know how to put pictures up on here. I'm on a mobile device and I can't select any pictures from my camera roll, sorry.
