First Dyno today. Does this look right? The car has a bone stock LS3 crate engine with 1-3/4" headers, aftermarket air filter, and a BTR Stage 4 cam with GMPP controls. He had to shift early due to tires. This was the first dyno run and dyno tune.
This look REALLY low even where the shift point is located. The car doesn't run any better now than it did with the factory cam. It sounds a lot better, but pretty disappointing.

He couldn't. I have older tires on the car with a lower speed rating and we were beyond the rating already. The compound is pretty hard also on a car that weighs 2100 lbs., so maybe it was slipping?
Without having a "before" graph there isn't anything to compare to.
Some dynos are all over the place. Easily would have made another 25-30hp at a higher RPM though.
You could post the tune in the tuning section of this site and maybe gain some insight there as to how it looks. A crappy tune could be holding you back if that's the case.

410rwhp at 5,800rpm with the power still going verticle is nothing to sneeze about. Especially on a Mustang Dyno. What gear are you doing pulls in and what is your rear gear? You can exceed tire ratings on dynos just fine as long as it's a short pull. Except for certain slicks and drag radials...some of them are big no-nos on the dyno at any speed.
I do not know what gear he had it in. My rears are 3.70 and I have a M12 T56. He did exceed the 106 MPH rating and the car was jumping around.
I think I have another issue. Apparently the air filter set-up is not big enough for the engine. I have to change that out and change tires, then head back.
