Default 6.0 ls3 head, factory crank, 721hp@8000 e85

Recently finished a long running build, aim was 2.0hp per ci and we got there. Still retained factory alloy 6.0, factory crank and ls3 style rectangle heads. Made 721hp@8000rpm and 511ftlb@6800, without vac pump working 100% and 20w50 breakin oil, 1 3/4" conversion headers

big thanks to brenton marusic at thr development for building the engine, wayne from racecomp for the dyno

Seriously tho very nice and I love 8000+ RPMs.

Will go to 8300 out the backdoor on 1/4, just no point beating on a fresh motor for the sake of dyno numbers

Should push 740-750hp with lighter oil, vac pump @ 13psi and loosened up. I just wanted the e85 carb so can cruise it on the street. On roo16 big donkey dick scoop at track it will make some serious steam

Cheers guys, long time in the running. 2 years, 2 engine builders, 3 visits to the engine dyno! Seriously cant thank Brenton Marusic enough for killer heads and then the rest to back it up. Pipemax data was pretty much spot on the money, so shows homework pays off.

Will rev a bit more, if you go cammotion facebook page you will see the longer live video i posted. At 8000rpm still not laying over

Bit more work yday making it look pretty

Thank you for posting the build sheet. I'm going nuts trying to decide on a block. A new cast iron 4.005 6.0 block or an LS3 4.065 Aluminum block. Seeing what a 4.005 bore can do has me leaning towards the iron block. Although not using a power adder, I'd hate to bore that new block .060 over and loose wall strength. Stock Chevrolet cranks really hold up. Very impressive.

Hollow stainless. I can't afford titanium valves at $150ea

In process of sorting this out, I have a 6200 test convertor at the moment. Eventually thinking 6800 and 4.11s. But I have a dodgy lifter so need to pull motor down
