Default Futral ported Fast 90 to venom ported msd dyno results to come today

I am in parking lot waiting for Geoff At Eps to arrive and we will make 2 or 3 pulls on fast 90 with Nick Willaims tb and then swap to the msd.
Both will use 90 mm nick williams th for accurate a-b test.

will update tonight with video

Edit: having trouble getting files to load.

A little about my set up First, 2000 Trans am. 2005 6.0 lq4 sbe with 10,000 miles on it, dart 225 heads with bowl work and a good 5angle valve job.
F14 futral cam 232/234-.599-.599 lift 112lsa 108 cl.
200-4r transmission built by Extreme automatics with rmvb trans brake.
8"fti converter - goes 6100 on trans brake and as the dyno shows its up there in that region when it couples up and pulls.
1-7/8 kooks headers into 2.5" Bassani tru-duals.
Fast 90 ported by Allan futral back when the fast first came out and is same intake he held the record with in his stock cube 6spd car.
My car run consistent 10.9 at 122 mph with 1.45 60 ft with this fast.

We got on the dyno at 11:30a.m and made 3 base line pulls.
452.7rwhp
Then we swapped over to the msd. Had to grind the top of water pump and bottom of intake a little but it went on. I bought jegs fuel rails and required adapters. The ones I got was to short so it took a while to make the rails work but still not finished . Was able to dyno though.

First pull on msd was same time. A/f leaned out from the 12.6 avg with fast to around 13.3 with msd
Msd made 452.8 rwhp also but the graph is better everywhere.
At 7300 rpm its still making 446 rwhp, basically a flat line from where the converter couples to red line at 7300.
Fast was down to 433 at 7100

Hopefully I can get the picture to load

Fast will make more down low and the MSD should peak higher and hold longer

I say the msd makes more power all around than the fast 90

I'm surprised it picked up over the fast down lower like that. That's really impressive. How come the graph starts around 5300 rpm?

I wonder if the MSD actually did make more peak and converter flash is responsible for the peak lower down

Stall is flashing that high. This is only reason this intake will shine on my car

I'm not sure. I had plans on going to track tomorrow, the spacers for the fuel rails are to short with these injectors so it's not supported as it should be. It was ok to dyno but I'm waiting to get new spacers to go run it and see

I think with that prostitute loose converter the MSD will shine

We used the 4 short ones to make the front 2 and used some spacers made of Teflon for the back. Worked great

That's my thoughts exactly, peakpower was same but this msd makes more everywhere else. And as its been said by others (darth Vader) it pulls much smoother.

This was bought for my motor I'm looking to build in June. 4.065 bore iron block with 3.9 stroke LLSR cam with my dart heads. They will be going to Venom for port work as well. Just wanted to do before and after to see how it shines on this set up. I'm impressed with it so far.

Also note on the dyno, both intakes were seeing 98-100 kpa fluctuating.
On test runs still seeing 98-100 kpa.

Cleaned filter yesterday and though I've seen worse, it was dirtier than i thought.
Now steady 100-101 kpa and 102- 103kpa key on engine off.

102mm Warr throttle body on the way with new tp sensor and iac as well.
Don't expect much power gain now but it will be on my motor I'm building . I may swap at track to see if it makes more mph .

Well i went to the same track tonight that I ran a string of 10.9s with the best being 10.91 at 122.78 1.45 60 ft on November 15-2017. DA was -57 on that pass.
tonight the best I could get was 11.08 at 122.05 mph 1.50 60 ft .
da was +1095.
corrected puts them pretty close but I think the fast edged it out a little.

I was shifting around 7000 rpm so not taking advantage of the extended rpm this msd offers.

I'm happy with the intake and warr102 tb. It will serve well on the new motor I'm working on come june.
