Default NA and 150 shot dyno numbers

This is on a superflow dyno, which reads in-between a dyno jet and mustang dyno. I was hoping that it would pull harder in upper RPM range with this combo before leveling off. I don't think there is valve float. Thoughts? Shooting for high 9's at the track with the 150 shot.

Here's the dyno charts. First one is NA, 2nd one with the 150 shot. No AFR on the dyno charts because we used the LC-2 wide band hooked into HP tuners. I recall the N2O being at 12.5 AFR so it's good, and AFR on the N/A looked good also, but shouldn't this setup not start to flatten at 6200 but rather continue to climb and not flatten until around 6700-6800 N/A? Peaks at 426 rwhp at 6200 then starts to flatten.

Nos min is set to spray from 3000-6800 at wot.

I noticed mine peaking a little sooner on a 150 shot as well. Around 6300 n/a and about 6100 on nitrous. AFR is about 11.5-11.8 on spray and 12.2-12.5 n/a

Good numbers. You will definitely need 28's to make it through the 1/4. I have 4.11's and 28's and I am hitting the limiter (7000) right as I go through the traps

After talking to TSP, peaking at 6100-6400 seem to be typical for the PRC 5.3 stage 2.5 heads

No, the 6 degrees was pulled only for the N2O run. My system is setup such that as soon as you hit the arm switch, it pulls 6 degrees of timing.

Ok I figured it was like that just double checking or the sake of comparing to my future set up.

You may want to look into different heads. These are great for the price, but there are heads that cost $1k more + that flow better.

Right but what I'm saying is that it peaks a little sooner on nitrous vs n/a. Like 6300 n/a and around 6100 N20

I had similar numbers with my PRC 5.3s on a stock LQ4 with a smaller cam through a 4l80e on a Mustang dyno.
408 to the tire. Carried the power all the way to 7,000rpm peaking near 6,500rpm.
Attachment 716976

And on a 100 shot it made 520 while eating up the budget circle D converter. Ran 11.6 @ 119 on motor and 10.9 @ 126 on n20. New motor is forged, .060 over, bigger cam, same heads and billet converter. It goes 11.2 @ 122 now on motor, no spray yet or dyno yet. Those budget 5.3s get the job done. My valve tips are tulliped really bad now and I'm going to be getting rid of them after this season.

ive heard of lots of cars peaking lower on the spray. u got to figure the 150 shot stays the same throught the pull even as ur rpm increases resulting in lower peak rpm... def normal tho
