A 102/102 is not too big for stock. Seen several guys running it on stock internals 5.7's. Scotty2000, BigHammer to name a couple. I ran 102/102 on my 5.7, which was heads/cam. Harder to tune for daily driving but not too big for the motor.
Large cams need compression. No way a website should recommend BTR4 for stock compression. BTR2 would be a far better match. Same with MS4. Tsp 228 a much better choice. And either would run fine on a 102/102 intake setup.

If the voltage at the fuel pump end of the wire,, at load is more than a volt or so lower than the voltage from the battery + to ground,, your wire is too small..
For rear electric pumps I use a 80A relay and a #8 high strand count braided wire (I buy it at a local aircraft repair place.. or order it on line. ) One of the advantages of a
rear mounted battery.. You can run welding cable to the fuel pump if you want cause its close.
I also Fuses both ends of the wire,, one right before the tank, one at the relay.. With big wire comes big malfunctions..

It will initially be highly frustrating and you'll have to work some bugs out and you'll find weak links.....but your first pull in boost will make it all worth it. These days the cost isn't even that much more when you factor in the expensive valve train for these big NA cams plus ported heads that can cost thousands and a FAST 102 or MSD setup that is a grand.

Ya, a bit hard to admit but the bug got me. Figured enough of being stubborn.
In the early stages but the converter will be coming out soon for a restall again for boost and getting a parts list and general idea of mock up going. Can do all the fabbing and welding so figured why not.

I like my BTR stage 2 with ported 243 heads. Pulls strong all the way to 6800 rpm. Cam Motion Titan 2 would be another cam to look at. I made 400 rhp with a Dorman LS2 intake on a dyno a bit on the low side compared to what it normally reads.
I don't think there is anything to be gained with a MSD intake unless you are spinning to 7500 rpm.
