great graph. I take it you liked the F13 best or is that just the last one installed? How is the drivabilty on it compared to the GX cam with with your stock heads?

I have been bouncing those 2 cams around in my head for a while. Just cant decide.

I have the G5X2 in car now. the driveability is better with the FM13, however I like the lope the X2 providesits just a little bit nastier than the FM13, which still has plenty rumpity rump btw. Plus it will be better for the 100 shot of N2O I'm about to throw on it with the larger split duration.

Thanks for posting the graph. Very informative. What are the specs for the FM113 cam? 228 230 113 .590"?

Thanks for the great comparison.

On the dyno graph it looks like your A/F was lean (13.5-14) on the FM13 and G5X2 runs. Is that AFR correct? The 224 looks to be at 13:1.

Nice graph but you need to turn up the smoothing. Lots of spikes up top that are masking the true peak numbers.

Great post with good info.

I'm impressed area under the curve the TR-224 has compared to the other newer cams.

Like the other guy said, It looks as if there was a good bit of tuning left to be done on the 13/X2 runs. The X-2 is only 2 degrees bigger than the 13, so the diffrence won't be that far off.

Yeah, the 224 graph impresses me more than the other two.

does anyone have a graph of TR224 WITHOUT +4 ground in? is adjusting it on the timing chain to be a bit more retarded an equivalent to not having the advance ground in?
I want something that does not drop off up to 7000rpm, and I'm wondering if that would do the trick.

224 made more power all the way to 5 grand .... makes me think that maybe a 228 would have made more power all the way to the factory rev limiter ..... seems like staying under 230 would be a good rule of thumb with a street cam

Try a 224/224, .581/.581 116+0 and you'll see it will carry past 6600 no problem.

Interesting, your The AF is a bit high on all of them except TR224. Also not knowing timing and knock can effect numbers drastically. While your compare was interesting there are too many variables to just say I had these 3 cams and here is the what they gave me.

Nice though
